After Two Days
At noon
"Thank you so much doctor" Aurora said smiling while shaking her hand with doctor who smiled back at her, replying her gesture. Victor stood beside her putting his hand on her waist and glared at the contact of their hand.
Aurora nudged her elbows to his stomach. Victor cleared his throat as they separated their hands. "Welcome Mrs Romano. I'm happy to see Mr Romano healthy" The doctor replied as Victor rolled his eyes mentally.
He got discharged and they were ready to go now. To their home, together.
Doctor went out of his room and soon both of them came out holding hands. Victor was following her like a love sick puppy. As they step outside, they were greeted by the view of her mother.
Amanda smiled warmly at Victor as he replied back with same gesture. When Sameul doesn't came into her sight. She asked "Where is dad?" Her voice became thick with gloominess.
"He had some work so he was not able to bid you a bye" Amanda throwed up an excuse. Aurora detected the lie cause it was too lame to recognize, a soft sigh escaped her mouth.
"He is still mad at me" Aurora whispered. Unaware of what happend earlier, Victor frowned but chooses not to meddle in between them, atleast not now but he made a mental note to himself that he will definitely solve the problem which is bothering her.
Amanda shooked her head and embraced her. Victor let go of her hand.
"No sweetie it's nothing like that. He is indeed a little mad at you but soon he will understand" Amanda consoled her daughter and placed a kiss on her forehead.
Aurora just nodded quietly. "I'm really sor-" before she could apologise her mother cut her off.
"Dont, you are not at fault. You just did what anybody could do at your place. Take a break from all these chaos ok" Amanda said softly and in reply Aurora nodded.
She was still guilty about her behaviour three days ago.
"Victor please take care of yourself." Amanda switched the topic as he nodded and a small smile broke out into his lips. After his mother's death. He was craving for a motherly embrace and seeing Amanda treating him as her own child somehow made him to feel like he has a mother.
"Yes I'm sure I will" he replied. "Now I think you both should go home I have to meet my friend in an hour" she said while checking her watch resting on her wrist. "Ok mom be safe" Aurora replied, she was feeling a little sad because her father didnt came to meet her.
"Yes bye bye I love you a lot" she caresses her head. "Love you more mom" Aurora replied before they parted their ways.
Victor place his hand on her shoulder and slowly squeezed them providing comfort as they walked towards the exit. His guards were already outside the hospital and his sleek black porche was already waiting for them.
The guard opened the door as both of them settled inside. Aurora sighed thinking about all these things that happend all of a sudden. It was still unbelievable.
Victor pulled her in his lap as she made herself comfortable and rested her head in his chest hearing his heart beat.
Her fingers interwined with his as he slowly caressed her hair locks with his another hand while placing multiple pecks on her head.
Peace.
Calmness is all they both felt in their hearts. Nobody said anything, it was overwhelming for both of them and the silence is comfortable.
