Aurora
I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself down as I walked back to the room with Marcus. I couldn't believe I had managed to call my dad, but I knew I had to be careful. Marcus couldn't find out.
As we entered the room, Ryder looked up at me with a sneer. "Well, well, well. Look what we have here. Our little princess is feeling better, isn't she?"
I tried to ignore him, but my heart was racing. I knew I had to stay strong, for my own sake.
Ryder chuckled. "Oh, don't ignore us yet, babygirl, you will scream our name and We're just getting started."
I felt a chill run down my spine as Ryder's eyes roamed over me. I knew I had to get out of there, and fast.
Suddenly, I heard a loud noise that was so shrill.
Ryder's head snapped up, his eyes narrowing. "What was that?" he growled.
Marcus got up, his eyes flicking towards the door. "I'll go check," he said, his voice low and menacing.
As Marcus left the room, I felt a glimmer of hope. Could it be Victor? Had he come to rescue me?
I looked up at Ryder, who was watching me with a calculating gaze. "You think someone's coming to save you, don't you?" he sneered.
I didn't answer, but Ryder just laughed. "Well, let me tell you something, babygirl. No one's coming to save you. You're ours now."
I felt a surge of fear, but I refused to give up. I knew I had to stay strong, for myself and for Victor.
Just then, Marcus burst back into the room, his face pale. "Ryder, we have a problem," he said, his voice urgent.
Ryder's eyes snapped up, his gaze locking onto Marcus. "What is it?" he growled.
Marcus hesitated, his eyes flicking towards me before he spoke. "Come with me," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
My heart leapt with hope as Ryder's face darkened with rage. "What do you mean?" he snarled.
Marcus swallowed hard. "I guess there is something," he said, his voice trembling.
Now who could it be? Victor? Please god I beg you let it be him this time.
But as I looked up at Ryder, I saw something in his eyes that made my blood run cold.
A glint of madness.
A determination to destroy.
And I knew that I wasn't safe yet.
He came towards me with predatory steps I stepped back but luck hates me. My back got hit with Marcus's front. I tried to gi away but as soon as I took a step Ryder held my hair in painful grip.
"Ahh" I whimpered as my scalp burned. Tears brimmed at my eyes but I refused to cry. I cant break down, not right now. "If we found it that it was you behind all this" Ryder sneered infront of my face and trust me I dont feel this much regret before in my life.
"We will destroy you" Marcus continued from behind and my heart dropped at the pit of my stomach. I exhaled sharply, trying to mask my emotions. "I d-didnt did anything" I said trying to sound confident.
Their jaw clenched as they released me and stormed out from the door locking it from outside. I sighed heavily and sat on the floor questioning my existence.
What was it?

Ryder and Marcus walked through the corridors reaching the guards. They bowed to them. "What was it?" Ryder sneered. "Nothing sir it was just a pot which got broke" one of them informed as their brows seized with relaxation.
