A hand was placed at his shoulder, his sobs were not stopping but he buried them inside and wiped off his tears and glanced at his side.
Amanda was standing there, her hands providing warmth but still he felt cold, Aurora's touch was different. "She will be fine, everything is going to be fine"
Her voice as soft as silk. She understood the sufferings he is been going through. "Come out now" she said and guided him outside. Victor was walking like a corpse. His heart was denying to leave her alone.
But he felt responsible for her condition.
As they stepped out of the hospital room, the bright fluorescent lights of the corridor seemed to mock Victor, a harsh reminder of the bleak reality he faced. Amanda's gentle guidance was the only thing keeping him upright, his legs feeling like leaden weights that threatened to buckle beneath him.
He walked in a daze, his eyes fixed on some point ahead, his mind replaying the events that had led to Aurora's hospitalization. The guilt and self-loathing threatened to consume him, making it hard to breathe, hard to think.
Amanda's soft voice was a gentle breeze in the midst of the storm raging within him. "We'll get through this, Victor. We'll get through this together." Her words were a lifeline, a reminder that he wasn't alone in his suffering.
But even as he clung to her words, Victor couldn't shake off the feeling that he was responsible for Aurora's condition. The weight of his guilt was crushing him, making it hard to stand, hard to breathe. He felt like he was drowning in his own despair, with no escape in sight.
Sameul came inside, he felt like s failed father but not anymore. His disappointment eyes went towards Victor limped body as anger simmered through them. Stark contrast to Amanda's soft one.
Samuel's eyes narrowed as he gazed at Victor, his expression a mixture of anger, disappointment, and frustration. The softness and concern that Amanda's eyes held were replaced by a hard, accusatory glare that made Victor feel like shrinking away.
"You're responsible for this, Victor," Samuel's voice was low and menacing, the words dripping with venom. "Your actions, your recklessness... it's all led to this." He took a step closer to Victor, his eyes blazing with anger. "Aurora's lying in that bed, fighting for her life, and it's all because of you."
The weight of Samuel's words was crushing, making Victor feel like he was being suffocated by his own guilt. He knew he didn't deserve to be forgiven, not yet, maybe not ever. But the anger and accusation in Samuel's eyes made him feel like he was being torn apart, piece by piece.
"You seriously need help Victor" he said, his voice so hard
"Sameul stop this" Amanda tried to interrupt. "No Amanda tell him to stop all this, to stop ruining my daughter's life" he said loudly.
his voice cracking for his only precious daughter.
"She was happy with her life but his stupid obsession came in between and destroyed the innocence of her" he continued tears emerging in his eyes. Amanda stilled in her place.
She remembered the fear of Aurora when he dropped his bombshell casually.
Aurora was shaking with terror but he? He didn't even thought of it.
All though he changed but the trauma she suffered at that moment was far worse than her condition right now.
"Please" Sameul begged, joined his hand infront of him. Pain crashed through Victor's eyes but he remained still unable to move, unable to think
