"Because I love you Victor"
Victor's eyes widened in shock, his face frozen as he processed her words. He felt like he'd been punched in the gut, but in the best possible way. He couldn't breathe, couldn't speak, couldn't move. All he could do was stare into Aurora's eyes, searching for any sign that she was joking, that she didn't mean it.
But her gaze was steady, sincere, and filled with love.
Suddenly, Victor's shock gave way to euphoria. He let out a whoop of joy, sweeping Aurora into his arms and spinning her around the room. He peppered her face with kisses, laughing and crying at the same time.
"Say it again," he begged, his voice hoarse with emotion. "Say you love me."
Aurora giggled, her eyes shining with happiness. "I love you, Victor," she repeated, her voice barely audible over his kisses.
Victor slowed down, holding her close as he gazed into her eyes. "I love you too," he whispered, his voice trembling. "I love you more than anything, more than life itself."
As they stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, Victor knew that he would never let her go. He would spend the rest of his life making her happy, loving her with every fiber of his being.
Victor's face lit up with a warm smile as he gazed at Aurora. "First, let's get you feeling better," he said, concern etched on his face.
He gently led her to the bedside table, where he had already prepared her medication and a glass of water. Aurora smiled weakly, grateful for his care.
"Thank you, Victor," she whispered, taking the medication and sipping the water.
Victor's eyes never left hers, filled with love and concern. Once she'd taken her medicine, he tucked her into bed, wrapping his arms around her waist.
Aurora snuggled closer, holding him tight. Victor's smile faltered for a moment, replaced by a look of pure adoration.
"I love you," he whispered, his voice barely audible.
"I love you too," Aurora replied, her voice soft and sleepy that made him to grin like a kid who got all his favourite candies.
Victor's smile returned, his heart full of joy and gratitude. He held Aurora close, feeling her warmth and love envelop him.
He was wide awake because why not? She said that she LOVES him. What else did he wants now?
"Sleep Victor" he heard her voice but her eyes were closed. "How do you know I'm not sleeping baby?" He asked while caressing her hairs softly. Victor felt her smiling against his naked chest. "Just like how know what I'm thinking" she replied that made his smile to widened.
"I love you so much" he said and his voice sounded like a squeal before he tightened his hold around her before kissing her forehead softly. "I love you too Mr husband" she replied. "Oh new name, little wifey?" He asked.
"Hey let me sleep now" she said while whining that made him chuckle before he closed his eyes.
As Victor held Aurora close, he felt an overwhelming sense of triumph and happiness. It was as if he had conquered the world, and nothing else mattered.
In that moment, all his past struggles, fears, and doubts seemed to fade away. He felt invincible, like nothing could ever touch him again.
Aurora's love had given him a sense of purpose and belonging he had never known before. He felt like he was home, like he had finally found his place in the world.
