"Catch it!" Aurora said and tossed a ball as the little puppy barked joyfully and ran towards the ball with his full speed. Aurora chuckled as he fell while coming towards her. His ears moving up and down as she watched him adored him and bent down.
"Woof!!" He wiggled his tail and placed the ball on her lap as the excitement danced in his eyes. "Little star" Aurora look behind and found Victor standing there. His shadow protected her from the sunlight in the garden. "Hmm" she replied as she stood up facing him.
Victor stared as the sunlight kissed her face casting an ethereal view of her brown eyes in which he got lost for a moment. He shook his head and smiled before placing his hand at the small of her back. "Come inside with me" Victor spoke softly.
Aurora nodded slowly but as soon as they turned to leave the little creature grabbed her long skirt in his mouth halting her in place. She doesn't use force as he can get hurt and bend down. Victor raised his brows in confusion. "Let's go, love" he said softly and earn an unpleasant bark from the puppy.
Victor step forward but he jumped between him and Aurora catching both of them offguard. "This little freak, I will kil-"
"Victor" Aurora gasped and grabbed the puppy in her arms as it snuggled into her lap. She scratched his ears as he woofed happily as Victor glared at him. If, only if his wife was not that much interested in him because Victor would never have any animals in his house.
After few minutes of patting and cooing Aurora left the puppy as he ran behind the ball she throwed a little far away to distract him. She stood up and turn behind only to found him glaring. A chuckle left her throat as she shook her head.
"What?" He asked. "Nothing" she replied still chuckling a bit. "Let's go" she said and walked ahead as he followed her like a lost puppy before holding her hands with him.
It was sunday and the weather was nice enough for her to sit in the garden but she doesn't realised that the whole afternoon she spent in the garden while he was doing something very important in his office.
As they walked through the giant living room. Margaret passed Aurora a smile which Aurora returned. She became like a mother to Aurora and she knew Victor from the very long time. Margaret always wanted Victor to be fine and free from his memories but nothing works nor did he try.
She thought maybe if he will fall in love with someone who will help him but the things went beyond her thinking. She never ever thought in her worst dreams that a simple mere girl like Aurora would become his obsession.
He is too cruel and broken for someone so pure like her. She had noticed how Victor look at her like he doesn't want to look away. It's so complicated and his obsession is endless. There is no light to go towards the path.
They entered in the magnificent library which had tons of book that a one cant even finish in his/her whole lifetime. The crisp smell of book entered their nostrils as Victor closed the door behind and walked behind her as she picked one of the random book from the rack before placing at the table infront of couch and settled in it.
Victor sat beside her before pulling her in his lap. "Did I told you how beautiful you are looking today?" He repeated the same question he had asked her from this morning. "Yes thank y-you" she replied as he brushed his lips against her cheek before giving it a soft bite.
"Your fever is almost gone, little star" he said while checking her forehead. "Its going to be a week in one or two days" she replied at his possessive remark. "I know but seeing you at the state broke my heart" he said.
Aurora went still and looked into his eyes which showed vulnerability. "I'm fine" she said trying to convince him as he sighed and nodded his head coming out of his thoughts. "Is something b-bothering you?" She asked and he didnt reply.
