"I'm home mom" Aurora said before entering inside the home. The familiar surroundings provided a sense of comfort. "I'm here sweetie" Amanda's voice came from their room.
Aurora made her way towards her. She went inside and found her mother scrolling in her phone with her lower glasses on the nose bridge.
Amanda glanced at her before tossing her phone aside. She patted her lap, Aurora grinned happily and went towards the bed before lying down,placing her head on her lap.
Amanda caressed her head as she relaxed. "Where is dad?" She asked, her eyes closed. "He went to office to meet his new clients" Amanda replied as she hummed in response, after this nobody talked for some peaceful minutes.
"Aurora" her voice cut the comfortable silence. Aurora opened her eyes and stared directly to her eyes. "Yes" she replied. "Can you tell me about your dreams?" Amanda asked, her voice taking a swift tone from casual to serious.
Aurora sat and faced her mother. "How do you--" "I saw you smiling in your dreams last night and then you said I love you" Amanda answered her unspoken question.
She panicked at the thought that her mother will now think that she is having an affair. "M-mom you know I never hide anything from you and trust me I dont have any boyfriend and even if I will make I will definitely told you about him" she said, not wanting to ruin the friendly relationship in between them.
Amanda shooked her head. "Sweetheart I just wanted to know about your dreams and I trust you blindly" She said as Aurora nodded.
"Since last some days, I'm having some weird kind of dreams" she stated truthfully. Amanda nodded and caressed her hand, gesturing her to continue.
"In those dreams, at first I'm alone in a beautiful place like garden, beach, library and many more places. After sometime a man came to me" she begins.
Amanda nodded and said. "Ok and after that" she asked her. Aurora took a deep breath and starts remembering every single detail about the man who has been in her mind from the past week.
"That man sometimes hugged me, kissed me on my forehead or make me laugh. I couldn't see his face nor I knew his name. All I remember that he has grey hazel and he called me 'little star'
He said that he loves me and in my dreams I claimed that I also love him. I really dont know why? But I felt that he was soo close to me. I really want to know him.
And mom I'm being honest I love that man too I know I'm being stupid. He felt too real as if I had spend months with him. I chose to ignore it but I'm having his dreams since last few days.
I'm just confused mom. Please guide me"
Aurora poured her feelings out infront of her mother. Amanda couldn't feel more content and happy than this. Her daughter is in love and the affection for him is too strong that even after forgetting all this he heart remembered him. The person who owns it by feelings and emotions.
"You are healed Aurora and trust me soon you will more happy" Amanda replied and hugged her. Aurora's brows furrowed together in confusion.
They heard the honk of the car indicating that Sameul is arrived for lunch. "I'll heat up the meal, you go and get freshed hm" she said and went outside leaving Aurora who sighed heavily not understanding what are they planning to do
'Are they even taking me seriously?' She thought and went towards her room to change into comfortable pairs.
"Aurora" her father yelled out her name loudly in hurry as soon as he entered inside. "Coming dad" she replied back from her room. Hearing his worried voice Amanda came out of the kitchen.
