*Knock* *Knock* Zoe fixed her hair, for the millionth time, and took a deep breath. She was standing outside the door of Lucas' game room, the same one he told her to come to to hang out.

Before she could start worrying about whether she should be there or whether she would get along with Lucas and his rich friends, a young woman opened the door.

"Hi! You must be Zoe!" The woman was very cheerful and had the biggest smile on her face. "Come in!" Zoe walked through the door and into the room while the woman continued to talk, "I'm Rosalee, Logan's wife...well-you don't know who Logan is so he's Lucas' older brother."

"Only two years older." Someone else said, coming into view. It was Tyler. Zoe smiled at him, liking that she recognized at least one person.

Then all of a sudden, another person came. "Two years can make a big difference on the brain." He extended his hand for Zoe to shake. "I'm Logan, Lucas' better looking sibling."

Zoe chuckled and shook his hand, trying to remember everyone's name. Looking at Logan, she immediately could tell that he had the same piercing blue eyes as his brother but just his hair was a lot darker. All other things considered, they could be twins. Logan was not the only handsome one in the room because his wife was equally as gorgeous, causing Zoe to feel insecure in her presence. She had the silkiest white skin, with a gorgeous smile, and drawn eyes that complimented her face. Her Asian features were beautiful and she looked so good next to Logan. I knew I would feel like a peasant! Zoe thought to herself.

While she was busy comparing herself to Rosalee, Lucas walked into the main room. "Hey," he smiled.

Her heart beat increased. She felt her cheeks get warmer. Just by one encounter from him. "Hi," she replied.

"I'm glad you're enjoying yourself so far" Lucas walked up to them, as they stood in a circle now. The place he stood was right next to Zoe, feeling a need to be close to her just like he always does.

"Yeah...I was just talking with Rosalee, Tyler, and Logan."

"Ahh, I see you met my annoying brother."

That comment cost Lucas a smack on the arm. From Rosalee. "Don't call my baby annoying."

"You've called him annoying before, Rosalee," Lucas replied, pretending that his arm was hurt now.

"Well, only I can bully him."

"That's right!" Logan concurred and bent down to give her a peck. Chuckling, Zoe felt the love between them and how authentic it was, which is something she had never experienced before.

"Are we going to stay standing here like idiots? Let's take a seat." Tyler rushed to the long couch and spread himself on it. "Feels like home."

Lucas followed him and motioned for Zoe to follow as well. "You spend so much time here, you might just call it your home."

"Says the one that calls me saying, 'Tyler please come hang out with me, I'm so lonely.'" The funny impersonalization that Tyler did of Lucas was what caused everyone to laugh. Lucas took a seat next to Tyler and Zoe sat next to Lucas but still left a little room between them. Rosalee and Logan sat on the couch across from them.

"Shut up!" Lucas laughed.

For a moment, there was a pause, and Zoe decided to take a look around the room. It was the nicest game room that she had ever seen. It was dimly lit, with arcade style games scattered all over the room. There was a ping pong table, a pool table, and even a bowling alley down the hallway. On the wall, facing the couches, was a large screen, almost as big as movie theater screens, and a shelf filled with snacks of all kinds. This game room was bigger than the square footage of Zoe's old house. Wow. She felt like she didn't belong here and was worried that maybe this was all a dream. Am I really supposed to be here? If anyone told her a week ago that she would be hanging out with Lucas in his game room, with his friends, she would have laughed in their faces and called them crazy. But this was really happening.
