"HAHAHAH! Why is it that everytime you're talking shit, he walks in?"

Lucas chuckled, half because of the situation and half because of Tyler's laugh. "I'm telling you, he bugged our work space."

"He probably bugged our phone too, got a whole ass warrant on it."

"That's when I would actually sue him," Lucas replied, in between his laughs.

It was a funny day. Lucas was sitting on his couch, eating his breakfast and watching TV when Tyler called him, like he usually did. They had been talking for the past twenty minutes, just laughing at their boss and what had happened at work the day before.

"Honestly, I know Valencia is an asshole, but he's a damn good director. I wouldn't trade him for anyone else."

"Assistant director."

Tyer laughed, "My bad, my bad G."

"I'm not your G."

"You're right cause you're a P."

"What does that mean?"

"HAHAHAH," Tyler laughed. "Don't worry about it."

"Do you wanna play basketball tonight?"

"Umm...I would, but Adana has a girl's night so I have to watch the little one."

"You can bring James with you."

"Yeah, so Adana can kill me for taking him out in this cold."

"Bro."

Chuckling again, Tyler replied, "How about this weekend?"

"I guess." Lucas pretended to be mad.

"Man! Shut your ass up."

The way that Tyler said his signature phrase caused both of them to laugh. Before Lucas could say something else, his phone started ringing on top of his current phone call. He removed the phone from his ear and almost dropped it on the ground when he saw who was calling. Zoe.

For a second, he was frozen. A million thoughts ran through his mind. Why is she calling me? Did she dial my number by accident? Why does this mean? Should I answer?

Snapping quickly out of it, he decided to answer her. "Tyler, I'll see you at work, someone else is calling me."

"Ooo, is it one of your mistresses?"

"No, it's your mom. Bye."

Tyler could be heard laughing in the background before Lucas hung up the phone call and answered Zoe's.

"Hey."

He was so excited to hear her voice so the fact that he heard a man's voice, made his world go dark. "Hello Mr. Lucas," Thanat spoke in his devilish voice.

"Who is this?"

"I'm so glad you asked."

Lucas quickly jumped up to his feet and started pacing back and forth, anxiously, across the room. "Who the fuck is this?"

"Remember the person you and your FBI friends stopped? Yes, it's me. And payback is a bitch."

"Thanat." Lucas' voice was low but still audible.

"Yes! Exactly. Did you miss me?"

There were no words to describe the anger Lucas felt. "Fuck you! We are so close to-."

"Now now," Thanat interrupted him. "Is there any way to speak to the person that could kill your beloved woman in a heartbeat?"

His heart started beating loudly. Zoe. "What have you done?"
