Her eyes were fluttering open. Slowly. Once they were completely opened, Zoe looked around and began to panic. Where am I?

When she tried to move, she noticed that her hands were tied. She wiggled again. Once she realized her struggle was to no avail, she started to look at her surroundings.

She was in a spacious cabin. There were four animal heads on each wall and a wooden staircase that led to what looked like the second floor but she couldn't tell from where she was sitting. The lighting was dim.

The entire place was wood. The walls were wood, the fireplace was wood, and so were the chairs. But it was also cold. Zoe felt herself shivering. Turning her head and looking to her side, she saw another woman tied up just like her.

Are we getting sex trafficked? The panic started to creep inside her. She never was a brave person when it came to these kinds of things so her legs feeling numb was not a surprise. I'm going to die! She wondered what would happen and how the world would be when she died.

Normally she would have cried, but she was too numb to cry. The only thing she could feel was the tight rope cutting through her wrist. If only she had a knife to cut through it. These are the things that nobody thinks about because they always happen to other people. But here she was, in a random cabin, kidnapped, and wishing she would have prepared better for this situation.

The lady next to her had her head down and looked unconscious. What do they want from us? Zoe questioned, her teeth quivering from the cold. She had a light sweater on and a pair of leggings, which she usually used as pajamas, but it was extra cold because of the outside snow. And they must have been in the mountains because it wasn't this cold in town.

Getting impatient, she decided to try getting her hands out of the rope. She squeezed and squeezed but they were tied so hard, she could barely move them. Her wrists felt like they were on fire from all the rubbing so she decided to stop for a while. But stopping did not bring her any comfort. She would rather have her wrists fall off then be forced to stay the way she was for another second, and that idea of staying here and getting hurt or much worse, gave her the motivation to rub her hands together until she was able to free herself. She was not giving up.

While she was in the middle of trying to free herself, the sound of someone speaking caused her entire body to freeze.

"Look who's finally awake!" The man came down the stairs. Someone she had never seen before in her life. He was being followed by the bigfoot looking man who had abducted her and shot Ann.

The man spoke in a thick accent, which sounded either Russian or German, but Zoe could not tell. She was too tired, too hungry, and too paralyzed from fear. It felt like she had been abducted for an entire week, but she was sure it was still the same day. She didn't know how much time had passed and that scared her.

Once the man reached her, he smirked devilishly and walked closer to her. "Why the sad face, beautiful?" Thanat grabbed her chin and lifted her face up but she quickly moved her head out of his hand. She was repulsed.

"What do you want?" Asked Zoe, looking at him with the most hateful look in her eyes. She wanted to punch him. Hard. He smirked again, causing Zoe to realize how ugly he was. His face was a normal person's face, but he was ugly in her eyes because of all the things that he was putting her through.

"What I want," he spoke slowly and swiftly, taking a pocket knife out and putting it to her face, "is to watch you suffer, and watch her suffer."

"What do you mean?" She cried. "I don't even know you." This entire time, she kept twisting her wrists to set herself free. She was never, ever going to give up until she was free. She was not going to give up until her wrists fell off.
