Chapter 24

"What do we have so far?"

"I got something very good."

"What is it?"

"I might have found his secret lover."

Thanat smirked devilishly, thinking about the idea that he would take down his nemesis once and for all. Him and George were currently in his large cabin, on the outskirts of Carlow City, devising a plan that would destroy Lucas, the person that they believed was most responsible for taking down their whole operations and making them lose billions of dollars worth of cocaine.

"How did you do that?"

"You know the coffee shop that's located about a block away from the warehouse?" George asked and continued when he received a nod. "Well that coffee shop is how I believe they were able to get so much intel on us."

"Those motherfuckers." Thanat was furious, so he spoke in his thick, angry Russian accent. "I can't wait to pull their teeth out with a screwdriver."

"You don't use screwdrivers to pull out teeth."

Thanat looked strangely at George, trying to understand what he was referring to, but after a couple seconds of staring, he decided to ignore him and continue the conversation.

"Continue with your plan."

"Yeah...so as I was saying, I think the coffee shop is the main tool they used to catch us. And not only that, but I have been doing some work, and I believe the owner of the coffee shop is in a relationship with Lucas."

"How do you know that?"

George pulled a few papers and laid them on the table. It was a few pictures of Zoe that George had taken. There was one of her outside the coffee shop, another one of her at the grocery store, and one of her at the movies with Evelyn. George had been stalking her.

When Thanat saw those pictures, he understood why George thought she was Lucas' lover. "She's beautiful."

"That is not the only reason why I believe she is Lucas' lover." George pulled out some more paper documents from a local shop. "These documents, which I got from hacking into the flower shop's database, show that Lucas requested to deliver flowers to her once a week. This is the same man that is infamous for being a player, now we have him sending someone flowers every week. That is why I think she means something to him, and if we want to hurt him and even kill him, we go after her."

Thanat smiled. For the first time in the past four months that his warehouse had been shut down, he felt in control and like he was making progress on his goal of making them suffer. Them being the ones that were against him. "Good work, George."

George felt a sense of pride to get recognized by Thanat. He was a hard man to please after all. "How do we go from here?" Asked George.

Scratching his beard, Thanat replied, "We get ready to take her and use her as bait to trap and kill Lucas. If you're saying he cares about her, then he will surely come for her and that is when we kill them both."

"I also found something else."

"What?"

"Lucas' mother, Janice, the one that worked to put most of your partners in jail, she goes on an unsupervised walk every Tuesday night at the Jeffer park. I say we kidnap her as well and make Lucas suffer two deaths of two women he loves. He deserves it."

Thanat, for the first time ever, felt proud that his employee had come up with such a great plan.

"That's a good idea. What about Lucas' fucker of a brother and his family?"
