It was 3:02 am when Lucas got a call that the team was able to breach Thanat's system. It took him ten minutes to get out of his home and thirty minutes to drive to the office, where everyone was waiting for the warehouse team to get there.
Meanwhile, on the second floor of the Rrinkers coffee shop, the entire team was in a state of disarray.
"I can't believe I got in! I can't believe it!" Elijah threw his arms up in the air as a sign of celebration.
Jenna put on her bullet proof vest and looked at him. "Don't celebrate just yet. We still have to take care of the warehouse."
Mark decided to join the conversation. "It won't be too hard, considering there's no one there right now."
"All right, let's get going." Jenna headed to the door as the others followed behind her. They had thirty minutes before the security system would go live again and based on their data, they were sure that no one was there. Everyday, the drug making employees would leave at 3:00 in the morning, like clockwork.
Once they were all waiting outside, in the back of the warehouse, the SWAT team arrived and they were ready to raid the place.
The first thing that happened was the SWAT team leader walking up to the agents. "All right, we all follow my lead and my men's lead. You all take whatever you need from the computers, and my team will take everything else that we need for evidence. We're hoping to clear everything out before the alarm gets triggered and we get shot at in a matter of seconds. All right? Let's go!"
The agents nodded and headed behind the SWAT team. Jenna made her way to the front so she could enter the code to allow access. Because of their skillful hacking, they knew all the codes. The door was easily opened.
First, it was the SWAT that entered the building with all their special techniques and expertise. There was no one there, besides a lot of machines and boxes of what was most likely, cocaine. There were also a lot of work stations, dirty with white powder.
While the SWAT was busy getting rid of all the boxes and getting as many things as possible, the agents went around looking for computers, well—anything that would allow them to get data.
"Here! I found it!" Mark yelled, as he entered a side room that looked like an office with two computers. Elijah and Jenna followed him and got started copying the data on their thumb drive.
"I don't even want to know what we're going to find here."
Jenna looked at Elijah and answered his question, "Maybe the Krabby Patty secret formula."
They all laughed. "More like the Cocaine Patty secret formula," Mark replied, causing them to laugh more. As they continued to take the data from the computers, they heard someone entering the office behind them. They thought it was one of the SWAT team members so they didn't think anything of it until the door closed.
Suddenly, all their bodies turned around to look at the person who had aggressively shut the door. When they saw who it was, they all felt the same scared feeling in the bottom of their stomach. It was a random man, probably Thanat's worker, holding his gun at their faces.
Without even a warning, he shot twice at them. One of the bullets didn't hit anyone but the second one hit Jenna straight in the thigh. "AHHH!" Jenna screamed and fell over causing Mark and Elijah to yank out their guns from their holsters.
"Don't even think about it," the man said in a thick accent. "Drop your guns or the next bullet goes in her head."
Mark and Elijah didn't know what to do so they both lowered their guns. They didn't want Jenna to get shot.
