Stella's POV

The warmth of home wrapped around me like my favourite blanket as I stepped foot back at Kelly's mom and dads house, it was New Year's Eve and majority of our day was spent driving home from the camp to make it home in time for the pre-planned new year party celebrations we had made with Kelly's family.

I was excited to get back to share the memories we made over the past 2 weeks, and finally announcing to his parents about the one unforgettable moment when Kelly had got down on one knee with the glimmer of hope in his eyes that mirrored the sparkle from the stars above us. I could already picture their faces lighting up with joy.

"Go ahead, ill take the cases upstairs" I hear Kelly says a he walks in behind me carrying our cases, he places a kiss upon my cheek as he passes me, heading towards the stairs as I head into the living room, already hearing the slight bustle of multiple voices that drowned out the noise of mine and Kelly's arrival.

I stepped into the living room seeing a handful of people stood around the living room holding their chosen choice of beverages all deep in their conversations. It was the gaze from Benny that caught me first stopping his conversation mid sentence as he grins "hey...they're back" he shouts catching everyone's attention as they turn to me.

"Stella..." I hear Jennifer call as she walks from the dining room, winding through the many people to get to me as she immediately embraces me into a hug "hey, your back early, we wasn't expecting you's for at least another hour" she says standing back and checking her watch "well the roads were clear and Kelly insisted we don't make any unnecessary stops" I tell her as she grins and hugs me again before turning to everyone with her arm still around me "everyone this is Stella, Kelly's girlfriend, I told you she was real" she says causing everyone to laugh as they all raise their glasses and say their hellos as I smile, one lady walks over to us.

"So nice to finally meet you Stella, I'm Maria, I'm Kelly's oldest and wisest of his Aunts" she says hugging me as I hug her back "nice to meet you, you must be where he gets his wisdom from then" I tell her as she stands back chuckling "I gotta be honest, when my darling sister here told me she was about to be a grandma I honestly couldn't believe it, my baby nephew having his own baby, making me feel old before my time" she tells me as the 3 of us laugh and I stroke over my bump "yeah well...surprise, I guess we now know where babies come from" I say a little awkwardly but hearing her laugh as she rubs my arm settling my nerves "I like you, you're funny" she tells me as I feel hands snake over my shoulders.

"And she's also the most amazing baby mama" I hear Kelly say as he sneaks up behind me looking over my shoulder "Kelly!" Maria squeals holding her arms out as he moves around and hugs her "Aunt Maria...how are you" he asks as she rubs his back "all the better now my favourite nephew is here" she says standing back "but I'm your only nephew" Kelly says Chuckling as he comes and stands beside me.

"So I see you've met my aunt Maria" he asks me as I nod "yep, and she thinks I'm funny" I say nudging his shoulder as he fake scoffs "well I don't know where she got that from" he says as I gasp and hit his arm playfully as he laughs my hand staying firmly against his upper arm as he looks at me and smiles "joking obviously" he tells me as he leans down and pecks my lips.

"Kelly Benjamin Severide!" I hear Jennifer gasp and almost shout as we both turn to look at her, she puts her drink that she was now holding down as she takes hold of my hand curling my fingers into her palm as she looks at the ring "is that what I think it is?" She asks us as I look at Kelly and smirk before looking back at Jennifer "oh yeah, about that...mom...I need to tell you something" Kelly says as she covers her mouth.
