Kelly's POV

The first month of the new year has been and gone, and it was nothing short of a whirlwind let me tell you, with school starting back up in the first week a lot of our time this month was spent studying for exams and writing up many end of term essays which alone many teenagers find overwhelming with so much to do in so little time, and that's exactly how I feel, especially because along side school commitments I also have my work commitments with Dan which leave me with 2 less nights to work on school work, which is still doable if I keep my head down and stay focused on my work.

But if it's not work commitments cutting in on my school commitments it was the recent scare me and Stella had when she was getting tightenings whilst we was working on a history project, we ended up having to spend a full night in the hospital for testing and monitoring, thankfully we found out what she was actually feeling were a thing called Braxton hicks also known as false labour but because of the panic and stress it had put on Stella it caused her blood pressure to go through the roof so she now had to have daily check ups at the clinic to monitor her blood pressure which had us both missing the first period of school each day but the lesson details would be emailed over to us at the end of the day. This continued until our next prenatal appointment which was the following week at our 30 week appointment, we were officially into our 3rd trimester, the final one before baby comes.

Alongside dealing with all that, we also managed to find time to view the house now it was all renovated and slightly furnished thanks to my dads work buddies chipping in and getting us started with some furniture including a sofa and a bed.

After seeing the house it got Stella all excited to start decorating, mainly the baby's room and to cheer her up after our unplanned visit to the hospital we went straight to the baby store and got the newborn nursery bundle Stella had her eyes on for months along with a full shopping haul of baby clothes to go in the wardrobe and drawers when we finally got the time to build the , as they was currently still flat packed and leaning against the wall in the room we decided would be the babies. The walls of the babies room were all painted white with a pastel coloured rainbow mural painted across the wall where her cot was placed, on the opposite wall was some shelves that held some children's books, framed scan photos from our appointments and little toy ornaments.

My favourite little touch that we've added to the house was our painted handprints on the wall as you walk in to the house with our names signed in them, we did it as a joke before we painted over them but decided to place a frame them with a hooks screwed into the frame giving us a place to hang our keys, we planned to add the baby's hand print also when she is born.

within a short time the house was already starting to look and feel like our home and we was finally planning to officially move in today, whilst other couple were out celebrating Valentine's Day/weekend we put our plans on hold and had spent it moving all our stuff from my mom and dads house to this one, as well as buying some more smaller items we would need like plates, cutlery and groceries.

"Well are you going to stand there? Or are we going to make our first meal together in our home" I hear Stella shout through to me from the kitchen as I turned around and saw her opening the new pan set we bought

"What's on the menu?" I ask walking through to her as she takes some pasta out the shopping bag "nothing fancy, I was thinking of just doing us some pasta bake it's quick and simple as I'm starving, all this moving has worked up my appetite" she says taking one of the pans and giving it a quick rinse before placing it on the hob.

"Do you know how to work this thing?" She asks looking at all the dials on the front as I press the touchpad on top for the hob, turning the front one on where she's placed the pan "the buttons for the hob are up here, them ones are for the oven" I tell her as she nods and looks at me "well I'm glad your here, I would never have seen those" she says as she opens the pasta and pours half the bag into the pan along with some water "so what can I do?" I ask her as she points to the fridge "there's some peppers in the drawer, start chopping them up as I'll mix them into the sauce when the pasta is done" she tells me as I nod and move around to the fridge getting the bell peppers out and placing them on the chopping board ready to cut up.
