Kelly's POV

As the first rays of the morning sun gently spilt into my room I found myself waking up, panicking as I grabbed my watch off the side and checked the time, sighing in relief that it wasn't actually time to wake up yet and I had not slept through my alarm.

It was a couple of days before Halloween, yeah nearly 2 whole months had passed by already, The days just seemed to blend together in a whirlwind of doctor's appointments full of precious moments of anticipation as we edge closer to the arrival of our little one, and finding the balance with keeping up with school to stay on track for an early graduation, and work since I had now started working for Dan at his scouts club, which speaking off, today I was heading on my first weekend residential with him which meant I would be leaving Stella this morning until Sunday night.

I was pretty excited to go but knew I'd miss sleeping next to Stella, I've kind of got used to cuddling her to sleep every night over the past few months.

Knowing my alarm would go off any minute I reach form my phone and cancel the alarm so it wouldn't wake Stella up, I sit on the edge of the bed and stretch out my back a little before standing up.

I go over to my wardrobe to find myself some clothes before I head out the bedroom to the bathroom for a quick shower. My mom spots me as she's walking up the stairs with some of the folded laundry "morning sunshine, you're up early" she says looking at the pile of clothes in her arms and handing me a pile of mine and Stella's clothes

I take them from her and turn into my room throwing them onto my desk chair "yeah I'm away with Dan this weekend, he's asked me to meet him at 9" I tell her as she nods "oh yeah, your first residential, how's the job going?" She asks me as I nod "yeah I'm loving it, I'm excited to see if all my hard work at teaching those kids has paid off as we put them all to the test this weekend" I tell her as she chuckles "well good luck with that, is Stella still sleeping?" She asks me as I nod "yeah, but I'll wake her up before I leave I know she will fall out with me if I leave without letting her say bye" I say heading to the bathroom door.

"Well I'll make yous both some breakfast for in about half an hour" my mom says heading towards her room with the rest of the laundry as I head into the bathroom, placing my clean clothes on the side before turning on the shower.

...

After a quick shower I wipe the water from my eyes as I step out and grab a towel wrapping it around my waist as I go and stand at the mirror I run my hand along my jawline and groan seeing the stubble starting to grow out again as I grab my shaving cream and rub it around my jaw ready to shave it down again.

I cup some water in my hand and throw it over my face as I use my towel to dry it before I grab my fresh boxers and put them on under my towel before placing the towel in the wash basket.

I put the rest of my clothes on before I head out the bathroom and back to my room, I see Stella still sleeping as I sit on the bed to put some socks on.

I turn my head back when I feel a hand on my back followed by a slight hum "morning" I hear Stella whisper tiredly as I put my foot down from putting my sock on and look at her "hey sleepy head" I say turning my body round a little as I run my hand over her hair her eyes closing again "did you get a full nights sleep?" I ask her as she turns on to her side opening her eyes to look back at me "full nights sleep? What's that?" She says with a slight chuckle as I smile sympathetically at her as I place my hand on her little bump "hey monkey you keeping mommy awake again" I say looking at her bump.

"For once they wasn't the one keeping me awake" she says as I look at her "you was" she says as I gasp and point to myself "me...why what did I do?" I say laughing as she closes her eyes and snores loudly as I laugh. "Oops sorry, kick me next time" I tell her as she sits up resting her arms behind her back as she looks at me "I did, and you just snored louder...can't wait for you to leave and I get a peaceful nights sleep for once" she says laughing as I hold my chest pretending to feel hurt.
