Kelly's PoV

As promised as soon as we got home I took care of Stella as much as I could, my mom left this morning to go out of state with friends from her church to set up some workshops and my dad was at work, so it was just us for tonight.

I told Stella to go upstairs and try to have a nap as I could tell she was emotionally and physically exhausted, whilst she napped I did a quick grocery run to get some stuff for dinner. I decided to make us some Piri-Piri chicken with garlic glazed sweet potatoes.

When I got back I went upstairs and saw she was still awake so started running her a bath for her to soak in to see if that would help her, she didn't hesitate and got herself straight into it, whilst she was in the bath I then headed back downstairs and made a start on dinner.

The chicken was going to take a while so when I had prepped it and put it in the oven I set a timer and headed back upstairs, I was going to head to my room to wait for her but stopped as I backed up to the bathroom, knocking on as I waited for a response "yeah?" I hear her say.

"It's me..can I come in?" I ask as I hear her chuckle "you don't have to ask" she says as I smile and head into the bathroom.

I see her lay back against the bath with her arms over the side as she turns her head to me "well someone looks relaxed" I ask her as I kneel down beside the tub and stroke her arm "I am actually, thanks to you" she says tilting her head to the side to look at me.

"I've made a start on dinner, we're having pork-piri chicken, but it's going to take about 45 minutes to cook" I tell her as she turns her head back and closes her eyes and hums "so I've got plenty of time to do some more relaxing" she says as I chuckle "yeah you do..." I tell her as she slowly starts to sit up and looks at me

"Do you want to join me?" She asks as I place my hands in the water and move my hand around "looks a bit full" I tell her

"I can just empty some" she says as she leans over and start to empty some of the water "okay, you win" I tell her standing up as I place my phone on the side, deciding to play some music on it to help her relax even more.

I start getting undressed as I hear the water moving around as Stella moves forward to make room for me.

When I'm undressed I climb in behind her as I sit down, she turns the hot water on to fill the tub up the rest of the way and to heat it up as it's a lot cooler than when I first ran it.

When it's almost full she turns the water off and lies back against me "that's better" she whispers as she relaxes into me.

I wrap my arms under her arms as I hold her tightly, kissing her shoulder as I move her hair to one side. "Gabby messaged me whilst you was out, she sent me the notes from last lesson for us" Stella says as I hum and rest my head on her shoulder "let's not talk about school" I tell her as she lies her head back "yeah I second that" she says closing her eyes.

I lie my head back as I lower my hands to her stomach "am I tripping or have you now got the slightest little bump" I say moving my hand up and down over the small curve just above her pelvis.

I feel her hands also move over her stomach as she chuckles "yeah it's definitely more rounder than usual, still not noticeable thankfully, but that's something we're gonna need to discuss...what are we going to do when I start showing, I'm not sure I'm ready for the school to find out yet" she says as I turn to her "we've still got time before we have to worry about that, let's get the fall and winter out the way maybe, I reckon we can keep it hidden until then, have you told your cheer team anything? As I'm pretty sure you can't do cheer whilst pregnant" I ask her as she sighs.
