Chapter 2

And so I accepted Percy Arington's friend request and soon after a chat bubble popped up at the lower right hand column of my screen. 

Hmm who could it be, i thought. For starters no one texted me anymore. Not my friends, who were busy with projects and tests.Not even Ash. I didn't know what we were anymore. He flirted with other girls on Facebook. RIGHT infront of my eyes. He ignored my posts on his wall and somehow claimed that he 'didn't see' it. How could it be that only my posts were invisible to him. Am i really just a bet? I knew i didn't look good enough. My parents were horribly strict and I could never go on dates with him or go out with him like normal couples. Is this what happens to girls like me. I quivered at the thought of him cheating behind my back but part of me was prepared for it. Embracing uncertainty I clicked on the pop out. It wasn't my friends. It wasn't Ash. It was Percy. 

And thats how it all started.

Percy: "Hey you. My friend's dating your friend. You do know right?"

Pris: "Well yea she is my good friend of course I do. They are so cuteeee together."

Percy: "HAH cute? More like they should get a room instead of being all lovey dovey here."

Pris: "Oi rude hahaha."

Percy: "Well you can't deny it can you, Priscilla Hutton. What about you? Are you dating anyone?"

Well here it comes, I thought as I rolled my eyes. Just another normal guy with his usual 'Are you single or am I wasting my time flirting with you' check

Pris: "Well yea I happen to be dating someone at the moment. What about you?"

Percy: "Oh yea right ok cool. Yea I do as a matter of fact, my girlfriend's expecting me to fetch her at any moment now. I'll catch ya later :) "

Pris: "See ya!"

Life went back to its mundane mode. I texted Ash since its been 3 days since we texted but he didn't reply me. I laid down on my bed and soon dozed off. I woke up, because of the unstoppable sound from my phone. It was Ariel. 

"Oooh flirting with my boyfriend's friend I see. You cheeky Hutton."

"Ariel? No? We were just chatting. Besides, he has a girlfriend."

"WHAT? No way Pris. He's been single for 2 years now. Thats what my boyfriend told me."

"I see.. but why would he lie?"

"Yeah i've got no clue too, right catch ya later Pris. I gotta rush. xx"

"Yea you too, Ariel."

And thats how I started thinking him. Why would he lie about having a girlfriend when most guys (Like Ash) would lie about not having one. There was something about this guy. I saw him online so I hit him up.

Pris: "Hey Arington :) So how is your girlfriend doing."
