Night Owl Chapter 8

I was laying in bed, just not falling asleep.

I decided to get up, and walk around for a bit.

I quietly got out of bed, and walked over to the deck, and when I told you it was beautiful to see all the stars tonight.  Although I soon realised the Bridge window was still on.

I decided to go turn it off, but when I got there, I saw Y/n standing at her computer again.

She looked over her shoulder to look at me, before turning to go back to whatever she was doing, paying me no mind.

She let out an adorable meep when I walked over to her, and hugged her middle. I looked over her shoulder, which wasn’t hard seeing as she was a lot shorter than me, like most people. There were pictures and videos quickly flashing across her laptop screen and I had no idea how she understanded what was going on.

“What are you doing up so late, Night Owl?” I asked, making up the nickname on the spot. 

“What do you mean? It’s only like three ish, is it not?” she asked me, looking away from the screen to look at me. Her face was a little red, but then again it seemed as if it was always red.

“Ya, A.M.” I told her, hugging her a little tighter.

“What?!” She said, looking at a clock. 

“Come on. I want to show you something.” I told her, taking her hand, and leading her outside.

“Woah.” was the only thing she said, once we were outside. She looked over at me, and I smiled.

“Come on, it gets better.” I told her, leading her to the roof of the Bridge.

Once we sat down and looked at all the stars, I looked over at her and her face said it all. All the stars looked so beautiful, especially right now with the clear sky and the full moon.

I lied down, with my elbows bent so my hands could rest under my head, making a pillow.

I watched as Y/n laid beside me, resting her head on my arm.

“This is nice.” She said, tilting her head to look at me.

“Ya.” hum, looking at her. All her features are lit up in the starlight. Her l/s h/c is sprawled on my arm, her e/c eyes look as if they are glowing. And that is just the beginning of how beautiful she looks right now. “We should probably go to bed.” I say before letting out a yawn. 

She lookes at me before sitting up to look at the stars.

I do the same, and put my arm around her shoulder. “We don’t have to. We could stay out here till morning.” she says, leaning her head on my shoulder.

“If you want to be my guest, but I don’t feel like getting yelled at by Jay or someone to wake up when I fall asleep while training.” I tell her, resting my head on hers.

She closes her eyes before sighing. “You’re right.”

“Ok, that settles it. Bed time.” I say, taking my head off of hers.

“Wai-” She started, but I interrupted her by picking her up, then walking away with her in my arms. 

We walked down the stairs to a hallway where all the sleeping quarters were.

I walked over to her and Nya’s room, and opened the door.

I then went over to her bed, and carefully put her down. 

I was about to leave, when she grabbed my hand.

“Stay?” She asked, not letting go of my hand.

I turned around, and crawled into her bed next to her. I watched as she closed her eyes, and her breath evened out. And she fell asleep.

I wasn’t planning on falling asleep in Y/n’s bed, but when my eye started to get heavy, I let them close and I fell into what seemed like the best sleep I had had in a while.

Ok I really need an idea on how Y/n should reach her full potential. All I know is I was planning for it to happen soon, but if y’all don’t want to till later, please let me know.
