The Snake King Ch6 Pt6/9

(I'm not going to add most of the Serpentines names because I think Lloyd would have forgotten all of them except Pythor)

Kai and Lloyd were on Kai' moter-bike, when he pulled over at an arcade and told Lloyd to get off.

"Ok, I know it's my turn to look after you," Kai started, as Lloyd jumped off. "But just play a few games and stay put while I look around. I have a feeling Semuri will show up." Kai told the kid, handing him some money.

"Oh, let me help." Lloyds said, looking up at Kai.

"No." Kai deadpanned.

"Come on>" Lloyds pleaded. "At least drop me off at a decent arcade." He complained.

"Sorry, Shorty." Kai said, riding off.

"Kai, wait!" Lloyd yelled after him, but he had already turned the corner and out of earshot.

Lloyd started to cough as Kai left him in the dust, literally.

He turned around and started to walk into the arcade, when he heard something from a back alley.

"I hear he found it." Someone said, "And everyone is gathering again."

Lloyd poked his head around the corner, to see many of the Serpentine talking.

"Impossible. The Lost City does not exist." a short red and white snake said.

"Well, it isn't lost anymore. Ha ha." the tall blue and yellow one said. "And I hear there's going to be a fight."

"A fight? Count me in." The red and white one exclaimed.

Lloyd started to walk into the back alley to find out about what was happening.

"All aboard. Next s-top, Ouroboros." The tall blue one told the others, jestering for them to enter a big green bus.

Lloyd walked back to the arcade, about to go inside. When he sees a snake costume in the window.

He runs inside, buys it, and runs back to the alley.

He runs onto the bus, but is stopped by the tall blue Serpentine.

"Hey, you, hold it there." The snake told him.

"Huh?" Lloyd gasped, stepping off the bus.

"Last one in, clos-s-es the door." The snake told him.

"Uh, sure thing." Lloyd said, hopping back into the bus and closing the door behind him.

He took an empty seat and the bus started to move.

Hours had passed since Lloyd had gotten on the bus with the Serpentine, and it was now dark.

Lloyd looked out the window, to see a huge statue of a snake. Then walls, lots of walls, lots of walls and statues.

Lloyd had somehow found himself in the audience of a Serpentine Slither Pit fight.

"I Bring You Together To The Lost City Of Ouroboros," an unsettlingly familiar voice yelled to the crowd. "Before The Statue Of Our Very Own Great Devourer, To Speak Of Unity!" Pythor yelled, from the foot of the statue.

"Where are the fights?" One of the Serpentine asked, from beside Lloyd.

"Where isss the big show?" Another one asked.

The rest of the Serpentine started to chant.

"Slither Pit! Slither Pit! Slither Pit!" they all chanted.

"You Want A Show?!" Pythor asked, slithering into the centre of the ring. "You Want To See A Fight?!" He asked. "I Ask For Your Allegiance But You Will Not Give It! So I Will Take It!"he yelled, slithering over to the other Serpentine leaders.

"What are you saying?!" the two headed red Serpentine Leader said.

"I challenge the four tribe generals for their staffs." Pythor challenged, still slithering over to them. "And their allegiance. At Once!"

The crowd of Serpentine started to cheer, but Lloyd just sat there, helpless.

"I fought Hard for this staff and will not give it up so easily." The green leader said.

"There's no way he can defeat the four of us at once." The short black one said, as they started to slither over to Pythor, who had started to back up.

The black one swung his staff at Pythor, but Pythor ducked and hit him with his tail, spinning him around.

The green one did the same, but was met with an uper-cut from Pythor.

The Red ones tried to hit him with their staff, but were hit with Pythors tail, like the black one was.

The green, black and red ones all jumped on Pythor, but Lloyd watched as the blue one handed him something.

Pythor put the thing to his lips, and started to play something very familiar to Lloyd.

It was the Sacred Flute.

"He's using the Sacred Flute against his own." Lloyd mumbled out.

All four Serpentine leaders groaned in pain, holding their ears.

The blue snake threw Pythor his staff. Pythor then punched the red ones, and hit the black and green ones with his tail.

"Bow to your master." Pythor said. "Bow To Your Master, Serpentine!" He yelled, throwing the staffs to the ground

The Serpentine all bowed.

Lloyd tried, but his hat almost fell off, he grabbed it but dropped his maracas in the process all the Serpentine looked at him.

Lloyd tried to run, but the Serpentine that was standing beside him, grabbed him, throwing his hat off.

"Where do you think you're going?" He asked.

"Lloyd?!" Pythor asked.

It feels good to write longer parts again. I promise after this chapter I'll go back to writing longer parts.
