The Snake King Ch 6 Pt 4/9

“This new stuff feels like it’ll really protect us.” Cole explained, once everyone was in their new gi’s and waiting to get to Mega Monster Amusement Park. 

(everyone as in, all the ninja)

“Yet it provides more mobility.” Zane expressed.

“You wanna strut your stuff on the catwalk,” Jay started. “Or get down to that park so we can go on some rides?” He asked, causing you to shake your head.

“I love a good roller coaster,” Kai said, “But nothing beats this.” He said before jumping off the side of the Bounty.

Cole followed, then Zane but Jay stopped before jumping.

He looked over at you, then started to talk. 

“How are you going to get down?” He asked, causing you to smirk.

“I have my ways.” you told him.

“Ok…” he said, before jumping after the others.

You waited for a second, making sure jay couldn’t see you, before you jumped.

You tucked your arms in, causing you to fall faster, you watched as the boys turned their weapons into vehicles.

You felt power surge in your fingertips, as the ground got closer.

You swang your feet out in front of you, releasing the power you held in your fingers, and landed on the ground with a waitless thud.

You let out a relaxed sigh, it felt good to use your elemental powers again. 

You looked around, to see the boys, jumping off one of the food stalls, and landing in front of it.

You ran around the stall, to trail behind the boys .

“Ha! Check that out.” Cole said, as they started walking. “And not a scratch on me.”

There was a group of girls crowded around something, and they were screaming. Not in a scared way, just screaming.

“Ladies, relax, relax, we have arrived.” Jay said, waving his hand in the air.

“Jay, they're not screaming about you.” you said, walking beside him.

“Woah?! Where did you come from!?” he asked, after jumping, not realising you were there.

“Like I said, I have my ways.” you shrugged.

Once you finished, you had made it to the group of girls, to see what they were screaming about.

“Uh, what just happened?” Kai asked, walking up to one of the girls.

‘Ohhhh, you totally missed it.” She said, “There were like icky snakes, and this mysterious Samurai came in and saved everyone.” she said in a very laid-back tone. 

“He was, like, gorgeous.” Another one said, in the same tone. It gave you the creeps.

“You saw his face?” Kai asked.

“No, but we could totally tell.” the first girl said, as Nya walked over to her and handed her an ice cream.

‘Wait. Nya? How did Nya get here?’ you thought to yourself.

“Nya, you're here.” Jay expressed.

“Yeah, you just missed all the action.” Nay told him. “He just flew in, took care of business, and flew off.” jestering with her hand, “It was pretty cool.”

“I don’t wanna be a ninja!” A little boy yelled, as his mother pulled him along. “I wanna be a samurai.” he cried.

“The Samurai is my new hero.” A man said, as he walked around with his friend.

“I bet the Samurai could kick the ninja's butts.” A different man said.

“Ugh, who is this guy?” Kai asked, as he furrowed his brows.

“Whoever he is, he’s stealing our thunder.” Cole said.

“And we just got these cool new suits.” Jay pouted. “Argh! I’m gonna say it, I hate Samurai. He said, folding his arms.

“Do I hear a hint of jealousy?” Sensei Wu’s voice said from behind you.

You turned around to see your Sensei, holding his back with one hand, and a stick of cotton candy in the other. “Maybe this can be a lesson for you.” 

The others followed you, as they too turned around to face Sensei Wu.

“Uhg! Not another lesson.” Jay continued to complain. “Hey, how did you get here so quick?” he questioned.

“The lesson is iron sharpens iron.” Sensei Wu said, ignoring Jay's question.

“I do not follow, Sensei.” Zane asked.

“Healthy competition can help you reach your true potential faster.” Sensei Wu said, walking in between Cole and Kai. “Do not be jealous of the Samurai, let him inspire you. Oh! Ferris Wheel!” Sensei Wu jumped, losing any sense of seriousness.

He then ran off, almost running into some people while doing so.

“Inspire?” Jay asked.

“Wait a minute.” Kai said. “Maybe the old man’s right.”

“You want us to compete with the Samurai?” Cole asked. ‘He’s got all the cool gadgets, we don’t stand a chance.” 

“No, not with him. With us.” Kai explained. “I say we turn this into our own competition. Whichever of us is skilled enough to catch this mysterious Samurai,” He said, taking his sword out, almost cutting a man. “Is probably the best of the bunch.”

“So whoever learns the identity of this Samurai is the one who will become the green ninja.” Jay said, flailing his arms around like a child. “Ha! I love it.”

“This isn’t a good idea.” you cut in. 

“What? Why?” Kai asked.

“Well, the Samurai hides his face for a reason.” you explained. But was met with stars of confusion. You let out a simple sigh before going on. “Privacy, he wants privacy. So people like you don’t come snooping around in his business.” 

“Oh come on. It’ll be fun.” Jay explained. 

“No, I’m not being a part of this.” you said, before walking off, to find where Nya was.

Sooooo… you're the elemental master of magic!

(Two parts in one day?!?! I felt bad at how short the last part is, and I realised it would take over 2 months to get the whole chapter out, so I might start putting out 2 parts but only for chapter 6, then I’ll go back to writing longer parts for the chapters.)
