Chapter 1 Rise of the Snakes Part 3/4

*3d person/no ones pov*

“Yeah, I’ve gotta work on some new moves.” Cole said, before helping Y/n on Rocky and flying off.

*at the monastery*

“So then we all agree. The prophecy states that one of us will become the Green Ninja, and the issue will not rest until it is decided.” Jat started.

“Not all of us.” Y/n said under her breath.

“May I suggest a tournament?” Zane suggested. “Last ninja standing is the best.”

“And will be declared the Green Ninja.” Kai said, with confidence. “I love it.”

Jay opened the training ring doors to find Nya, trying to beat Kai's speed record. But fails, when she is hit in the face by the side of an axe, and knocked to the ground with a loud ‘oof’.

“Hey, Nya. Closer to beating your brother's speed record?” Jay asked, looming over Nya, who was then helped up by Y/n.

“I’m getting there. Heard what happened in town. Just a false alarm?” she asked.

“Yeah. Uh, but we’re gonna need the space.” Kai started. “Sorry, sis.”

Cole walked up to a cabinet and pulled out some training gear, then throwing it at Jay, which knocked him in the head. “Two matches, then the winners of each face off for the title. Armors for our own protection. It’s time to see what these babies can do. “Cole said, holding up the scythe of quakes.

“Hey, Y/n, Nay, wanna stay and see me mop the floor with them?” Kai asked the girls.

“No, thanks. I think I’ll just visit Jamanakai village.” Nya started, “wanna come?” she asked Y/n.

“Sure!” Y/n said, as they turned around to walk to Jamanakai.

*Y/n, and Nyas pov, at Jamanakai Village*

Y/n and nay were wandering around, browsing, when they start to hear villagers screaming, so they look to see what is.

“What now?” Nya asked.

“Take the candy. Take it all!” Lloyd said, walking out of the sweat shop, with a wheelbarrow of candy, before laughing. As he walked out of the sweat shop, they realised he had Serpentine following him. 

The Serpentine started to do some weird thing with their eyes, and started to put all the villagers under some kind of hypnosis.

“This makes no sense, general.” Said one of the Serpentine. “Raiding an entire village, for sweets?”

“You will do as I command, because I hold the staff.” said what seemed to be the general.

“Nya, we need to hide.” Y/n said, pulling Nyas arm.

“But…” Nya started.

 “The ninja will be here soon, but we need to hide till they get here.” Y/n said, dragging Nya into an ally.

“Why can't you take care of them?” Nay asked once they were hidden. “You could use spinjitzu on them.”

“I don't want to risk it and there to be to many for just me to take.” Y/n said. “Now, shh, we don’t want them to hear us.”

Nya just nodded in response.

“Look, it’s them.” Y/n said from they’re hiding place.

“Come on.” Nay said, getting out of the hiding spot, revealing herself to the ninja.

“”Huh? Nya?” Jay asked, “You're okay.”

“Barely.” Nya replied.

“Wait, where's Y/n?” Cole asked.

“Right here.” Y/n said, jumping behind him, scaring him.

“They hypnotised everyone in town.” Nya explained.

“Mind control. How is this possible?” Jay asked. 

“When you hear them rattle their tails, don’t look em’ in the eyes.” Y/n explained.

“That’s how they get you.” Nya finished the Y/n sentence for her.

“What are we supposed to do?” Jay asked, throwing his arms up. “We can’t use our weapons, and we gotta fight with our eyes closed? Ha! Perfect.”

“The snake with the staff is the general.” Nya started, “he’s the one in charge, if we can get the staff from him, it holds the antivenom.”

“If we can get that, we can save everyone.” Y/n said.

“Look, guy. Forget about the whole Green ninja thing. Let’s make sensei proud.” 

Kai said, “the four of us, we’re a team.”

Y/n cleared her throat, to remind him she was a ninja too.

“Five.” Kai corrected himself.

“Oh and, Nya, you can be our honorary member.” Jay said, earring a slap on the back of the from Y/n.

“Gee, thanks.” Nya said, sarcasm was the only thing in her voice. Before they jumped up to the rooftops.

After seeing Kai fail at spinjitzu, Jay said, “okay, we are really out of shape.”

“Ha! Consider this a warning, ninja.” Lloyd said, as he ran away with his candy. Although he was quickly stopped by Zane and his Shurikens of Ice. 

“Ninja Go!” He yelled, as hehe spun into spinjitzu.

“Aah! My Candy!” Lloyd yelled, as his candy spilt on the ground.

“Sensei, was right. Never put off until tomorrow what can be done today.” Zane said, stopping in front of Lloyd. “We should’ve dealt with you the first time around.”

A loud, “I Told You!” came from Y/n, as she punched a Serpentine.

“Retreat!” Lloyd yelled.

“Retreat!” The general, repeated. When Cole came out of nowhere and kicked the general, making him drop the staff.

“Go ahead, give me a reason.” Cole said, to the Serpentine, he then grabbed the staff, as the Serpentine slithered away.

“Cole!” Y/n yelled, as another snake came up behind him. She quickly ran up to it, kicking it in the face.

“You have the antivenom.” Nya yelled at him.

“My golly, you're right.” Cole said, as he realised he had the staff. Which to Y/n, was a little weird, as Cole didn’t forget stuff that easily…

That was a little weird of Cole, what do you think is up with him?
