Chapter 4 Never Trust a Snake Part 1/3

*your pov*

You were sitting on your bed, in the room you shared with Nya, reading. When you heard a loud slam come from the boys room. You wanted to know what it was, but you could just ask them at training. ‘Training. Wait, Training!’ you thought. ‘I’m going to be late!’ 

You quickly hopped off your bed, put on your uniform, and headed to the deck for training.

You walked in, right as the boys did. 

“Little slow today, huh?” Kai asked you, as you ran on to the deck.

“Yeah.” You replied, as Kai turned to Zane.

“What exactly did you dream about?” Kai asked Zane.

“I saw the falcon again.” Zane explained.

“Whoa. Zane, every time you see that bird something big happens.” Jay reminded them. “First, it led you to the secret tree house. Then it led you to the Bounty.”

“All right. Stretches.” Sensei Wu said. “First, the Swooping Crane.” he said, turning around, he put his hands in the air, and one leg up, balancing on the other. 

“This time, it showed me the Green Ninja.” Zane whispered.

“The Green Ninja?” they all whisper-yelled, getting out of poison, , even you were a little curious.

“That looks like the Shocked Monkey.” Sensei Wu said, “bad form, you need more focus.”

“You can’t just drop a bomb like that.” Jay whispered, “spill the beans.”

“Yeah, what did you see?” Kai asked, still doing the Swooping Crane.

“He was fighting Lord Garmadon.” Zane continued.

“That’s what the prophecy said.” Kai explained. “That the Green Ninja would 

defeat the Dark Lord. But did you have a chance to see which one of us was him?” Kai asked.

“Or her.” you whisper-yelled. 

“I thought you didn’t want to get messed up in this?” Cole asked.

“Well I’m still curious.” you whispered.

“Did you see?” Jay asked.

“I could not tell. They shared attributes each of us possess.” Zane explained.

“Now, Pinching Crab.” Sensei Wu said, bending down, putting his hands out in front of him, like a crab.

 “Well, tell us everything, and don’t spare any details.” Kai siad, getting into the same position as Sensei Wu. “There has to be  a clue that tells us which one of us is gonna be the Green Nin-” Kai said, but was cut off by Sensei Wu, pulling his hair. “Ow, ow, ow! hey!”

“What was so important to ignore my teachings?” Sensei Wu asked.

“Ugh, nothing.” Kai blurted.

“Nothing, Sensei.” Jay followed.

“Yeah, we don’t talk while you teach.” Cole lied.

“Everyone was paying attention.” Zane said.

“Really, it was nothing, Sensei.” you said.

“Since you all appear to be lacking in focus, then you can all share in the punishment.” Sensei Wu explained.

“What?” Kai asked.

“Punishment?” Jay asked.

“Fiar.” you said. 

“It was all Zane.” Cole said.

“I was merely answering their questions.” Zane tried to defend himself.

“No free time, and no video games.” Sensei Wu said. “The rest of the day can be used for training. And tomorrow, for that matter.”

“Training..? For how long?” Kai complained.

“Until you can answer this simple riddle.” Sensei Wu explained, “what is the best way to defeat an anime?” 

“Easy, with a sword.” Kai said, jumping in front of the group, swinging his hand around, like he was fighting someone with a sword.

“Your fists.” Jay said, punching the air.

“Spinjitzu.” Cole chimed in, spinning in the air.

“Tornado of Creation?” Zane guessed.

You wanted to say something, but you were at a loss for words.

Sensei Wu let out a big breath, before talking. “Pace yourselves. You have a lot of training ahead of you.” he said, walking up the stairs. “Make sure you sharpen your mind as well as your spinjitzu.”
