Chapter 3 Snakebit Part 4/4

“There is still a way.” Sensei Wu explained.

“How?” Jay asked.

“Part of reaching your own full potential is understanding your weapon’s potential.” Sensei Wu continued. “Once it is in tune with a focused heart, its secrets and powers can be unlocked.”

“What? This is not the time to be cryptic.” Jay complained.

“He’s saying our weapons are vehicles themselves.” Zane explained.

“Don’t tell me I have to ride this like a broomstick.” Kai asked, looking at his Fire Sword.

“Jay, concentrate on unlocking your golden weapon.” Sensei Wu said, “let your heart guide you. Imagine you're taking flight.”

Jay looked at the Nunchucks of Lightning, before spinning them around. Then with a big boom he was in the cockpit of a bright blue jet.

“Whoa! Did I just do that?” he asked, after the top popped open.

Kai then did the same, and with another big boom he was now sitting on a giant motorcycle. 

Zane follows shortly, making another motorcycle, but out of ice.

Cole quickly did the same, making a (well I don’t know what it’s called, you know what I’m talking about, right?).

“I hate to hurt Rocky’s feelings, but I think he’s just been replaced.” Cole said, as he looked around his new ride.

They all sped off, following the Serpentine. Leaving you, Nay, Sensei Wu, and Jay’s parents behind, at the junkyard.

“Does your flute turn into anything?” Nya asked Sensei Wu.

“I wish,” he responded.

“You can take Jalopy,” Jay’s Dad said, pointing to their car. You all quickly ran over to the car, and hopped in, following the ninja.

It didn’t take long to catch up, but when you did, all you saw was Jay falling out of the sky, with the staff in his hand.

“Nya! Punch It!” You yelled. Nya sped up. Jay fell into the car right before he hit the ground.

“Heh, nice catch.” Jay said, sitting up.

“Oh, I knew I liked thess-se girlss-s.” Edna said.

“Thank you, Edna.” you started, “Nya over there!” you then yelled, pointing to the ninja, who were stranded.

Nya quickly pulled up behind them.

“Your weapon is merely an extension of your mind.” Sensei Wu started. “If your mind is immobile. So is your weapon.” he explained.

“Oh, boy. Oh gosh. Oh, golly. Oh dun.” Ed started, “get in, boys.” The ninja quickly joined them on Jalopy.

“We have to get back to the headquarters.” Jay explained, before Nya quickly drove off.

The second they got back to headquarters. They all ran onboard.

“Come with me.” Nya said, to Jay’s parents. “Once we reverse the venom, we can fix you.” she said, taking the antivenom out of the staff, and running to the underside of the ship.

You, Jay, Kai, Cole, Zane, and Sensei Wu, all ran up to the Bridge. “Man the stations, everyone!” Jay yelled, as he ran over to his button.

You and Kai looked out the window, to see the Serpentine approaching, and fast.

“Jay, we better hurry.” Kai said, rushing Jay.

“I’ve been waiting for this moment.” Jay said, cracking his knuckles, and pushing 

his button. To have nothing happen.

“Jay! They're Getting Closer!” you yelled.

You looked away from the window when you heard Jay’s parents laughing. They were going back to normal.

“Ah, I don’t get what’s wrong.” Jay said, wacking the machine. “I spent forever on this. It’s supposed to work.” 

“Uh, son, maybe I can help?” Ed asked.

“Dad. you’re okay.” Jay said, looking at his Dad.

“Your darn, tooting. Oh let’s have a look.” Ed said, kneeling to get a better look at the machine. “Oh, yeah, uh-huh. That should do it. Now try it.” 

Jay slammed his fist on the button, and quickly, the ship lifted off the ground, and into the air. It tipped to the one side, making Nya lose her balance, and drop the staff through the window, before they flue off.
