Chapter 5 Can of Worms Part 1/5

You were sitting on the dragon head of the ship, meditating. When you heard Lloyd whistling, as he walked up to you.

“Oh, hey, Lloyd.” you started, opening your eyes. “What are you doing?” you asked.

“Just wanted to tell you that, I saw Cole doing something in your notebook.” Lloyd started. “Thought you would want to know. Well, bye Y/n.” he said, walking off.

“What?” You asked, but got no response, “Cole?!” you yelled, out of frustration, and anger.

You got up, and ran over to the boys room. To find that they were already arguing.

“You couldn’t just be happy with the top score?” Kai asked, half yelling. “You had to rub it in my face!”

“Do you know how long it took me to make that?” This was Cole, also half yelling. “Three days. Three Days!” Now this was yelled.

“It’s an unsaid law, okay?” Jay asked. “You don’t touch a man’s robot.”

“How am I supposed to strike fear in this?” Zane asked. “It’s Pink!” he said, holding up his ninja Gi.

“Do you know how rude it is to look through someone's notebook?!” you yelled, joining the yelling circle. “Now That Is An Invasion Of Privacy!” 

You all kept on arguing, not even noticing Sensei Wu walk in, and revile Lloyd.

You all stopped arguing when Lloyd started laughing. You all looked behind him, to see a bottle of pink soap, a hammer, a box full of coding stuff, spices, and your notebook.

You all gasped.

“You did this?” you all asked, talking in unison.

“Guys, I get first dibs.” Cole said, walking up to Lloyd.

“No dibs.” Sensei Wu said, stopping Cole from hurting Lloyd. “I put him up to this for today’s lesson.” he said, “I wanted to show you the destructive power of rumours and that jumping to conclusions can only lead to trouble. Did you ever think to find out if the accusations were true?”

“Uh, no offence, Sensei, but let me jump to this conclusion. Today’s lesson it lame.” Cole said, and you nodded in agreement. 

“Yeah. why can’t you teach us to paralyse your enemy with one finder?” Jay asked. “Or find out if a man is lying by the twitch of his nose?”

“Because not all lessons are about fighting.” Sensei Wu said, which you also agreed with. “ and I lost my lesson book.” He confessed.

You looked to Lloyd again, and saw the lesson book, poking out of his pocket.

“Do you mean this lesson book?” you asked, walking up the Lloyd, and grabbing it out of sed pocket.

“It was the perfect plan, until you had to mess everything up.” Lloyd complained, and started to ramble on and on about how the ninja were the worst, and how they always ruin everything, blah, blah, blah. 

When Cole cut him off, by closing the door on him. 

“If you're done fooling around,” Nya said, over the microphone. “I could use you guys on the Bridge. We do still have a snake problem to attend to. Over and out.”

“It'd be one thing to let the son of your nemesis live with you, but having my sister here?” Kai asked. “I mean, come on. I thought this was a ‘ninja’ headquarters.” he continued to complain.

“Personally, I like having her around.” you said.

“You do know I can hear you.” Nay said, giving Kai an embarrassed look. “Over and out.” 

You started to walk out of the room, when Cole stopped you.

“Where are you going?” He asked.

“Where do you think?” You said, “Nya just told us she needed us on the Bridge.” You explained, walking out of the room, the other ninja followed coles, but not to coles behind.

Once the other ninja got to the Bridge, you and Nya were already waiting.

“Last we heard of Pythor, he stole the Map of Dens from Lloyd.” Nya explained. “And is now on his way to open the last two Serpentine tombs.”

“Uhg. don’t remind me.” Lloyd said, looking at the floor.

“Pythor’s our most dangerous threat.” Sensei Wu said, “if he finds those tombs before we do,  with his intellect and all four tribes unleashed, there’s no telling what he’ll do.”

“But those tombs could be anywhere.” Jay said, “without the Map of Dens, we might as well throw darts at a map.” 

“Good idea. Why don’t we?” Nya asked, throwing some darts at the Bridges map. “These are the two locations of the Hypnobrai and Fangpyre tombs.”

“Show off.” Kai said, as his sister walked up to the map. Throwing yet another dart at it.

“And this is Pythor’s tomb.” she explained. “After many hours of ruminating on why the tombs were placed in these three places. I discovered a secret pattern.” 

You looked over at the ninja beside you, and noticed Jay was standing in an admiring way.

Nya grabbed a flashlight/torch, and turned it on. She pointed it at the map, revealing a picture of a snake to light up the screen. 

“If you notice, all three are in line with the Ninjago symbol for serpent.” Nya explained.

“So the last two tombs must be here and here.” Jay said,  pointing to two spots on the map. “You are so amart.” 

“Was there ever any doubt?” Nya asked.

“There is little time. Kai and Jay, you head to the Venomari tomb.” Sensei Wu said. “Cole and Zane, you take the Constrictai tomb. And take this,” he said, handing Cole his flute. “You might need it if you run into Pythor. Good luck Ninja.”

“What about me, Sensei?” You asked. 

“What I’m I going to do?” Nya asked.

“Yeah. what are we gonna do?” Lloyd asked, making Nya shake her head at the statement ‘we’.

“Nya, I need you two here to make sure Lloyd doesn't get into any more trouble.”

“Yes, Sensei.” she said, and looked at the floor.

“And, Y/n, I need you to help me figure out what Pythor is planning.” Sensei Wu explained to you.

“Okay, Sensei.” you replied. 

“Let’s go boys.” Cole said, “we got some snakes to club.” 

You watched as the other ninja ran out the door, leaving you, Nya, Sensei Wu, and Lloyd alone.

It felt weird to you, watching them leave without you. You were normally on the mosions with them, but not this time.

“Where are you, Pythor?” Sensei Wu asked, going up to the map.

Ok, that was a lot longer than I thought it would be. But the next one will be shorter, just for a heads up.
