My fingers ran through red locks, caressing them out of the sleepy face. Abigail was still sleeping when I woke up to make her the promised breakfast. It was already ten o'clock and my phone was still going off with different people trying to approach me.

"Hi." Her voice was the only sign of her being awake.

"Good morning." I smiled, caressing her cheeks. Her eyes slowly opened, lips pulling into a soft smile.

"What time is it?" She slowly pushed herself up, so I slid a few inches away to give her space.

I looked down at my watch before answering her. "10:09"

"What? Why didn't you wake me? I have practice." She basically shot out of the bed.

"And where do you have that practice exactly?" I smiled, waiting for her to wake up enough to remember everything.

"Oh, right." She giggled a little, falling back into bed, head resting on my lap.

"I made you breakfast." I stroke her hair, letting her turn around, laying on her stomach now.

"Where is it?" Her fingers drew circles on the top of my thighs, making my muscles tense beneath her attention. The air got suddenly very heated in the bedroom.

"In the kitchen." I motioned with my head to the room's direction.

"You promised me breakfast in bed." She reminded me with a grin on her pink lips.

"Give me a minute then." I leaned down to kiss her cheek, but when I tried to get up, Abbie pulled me down, keeping me on the bed.

I shot her a confused look, which she started to giggle in response. "Leave it. I can have breakfast in bed without it."

I was taken aback, letting her push herself higher and kiss into my neck. I didn't try to cover the little moan that left my lips.

"Love" I was warning her, my tone was strict, but my body was completely disobeying my mind. When Abigail sat up completely and tried to straddle my lap, my hands were helping her, pulling her in by her butt.

"Hm?" She ran her tongue along my pulse point, sucking and nibbling on my skin. My clothes felt too tight now, clinging to my skin, making me feel too hot.

My fingers dug into her flesh, pulling her incredibly closer. "I have to go to work."

"What work?" Her movement stopped immediately, pushing herself away from me so she could look into my eyes. Her mood completely changed, froze a little.

"My studio was on fire not so long ago. I have to do a bunch of stuff." I knew what she was thinking about. I just knew that we were going to have a serious conversation about all my businesses in the not-so-far future and I will not come out in the best way out of it. I just wanted to get over it.

"Oh, alright." Abbie cleared her throat. "I'm sorry for the accusation."

"Do you wanna talk about my work later?" I offered for some stupid reason.

"Not today." She shook her head, kissing my cheek, before climbing off my lap, leaving me alone in bed.

"Why not today?" I watched her walk out, following her like a puppy.

"Just not." She shrugged, sitting down to the table. "When are you coming home?" She sipped on the coffee I previously prepared for her.

"Noon maybe. But we will talk." I promised, putting food on her plate. "Will you stay here?" I asked with so much hope in my voice, it was embarrassing.
