Clara
A/N: I hope it was worth the wait<333
I'm not saying I'm a God, but I'm damn sure pretty close to it.
Even though unfortunately I hadn't met Abbie since we slept together, every memory lived in my mind vividly. I remembered every sound and every move she made. I paid proper attention to everything she did to know if I was doing great or not. And when she said that I was perfect? Man I was almost coming on the spot.
Since she had a lot of practice at the studio, she didn't really have time to meet up or go out with me. So when her name popped up on my screen I was fucking jumping inside.
"Hello, love."
"Hi, what's up?" Her voice was cheerful, happier than in the last few days when we talked on the phone. All the practice really stresses her out.
"Nothing much, working." I shrugged, looking out of my car window. The man I was watching was walking down the street casually, like he didn't have millions of dollars in his bag. When he disappeared in a narrow street, I jumped out of the car.
"Would you want to come with me to shop for my niece's baptism?" I didn't need to see to know how she nervously bit her lips while waiting for my answer.
Honestly, when I thought about meeting her again, I didn't think about shopping, but I took what I could get. I stopped in the corner, looking into the dark alley, watching the man, who stopped in the middle, waiting. I shot a few shots of him, standing there alone.
"Clara?"
"What?" Shit!
"Would you like to come with me?" She repeated the question. "You don't have to." Abbie quickly added.
"Obviously I would like to go, Abigail." I would go anywhere with you
Another man, a blonde one, appeared on the other end of the alley, walking towards my target. He was confident enough to not take his eyes off the man with the bag of money, obviously having the power between the two of them. I snapped my photos quickly, zooming onto his face.
"I miss you." I lowered the camera in my hand.
I was completely unable to stop my grin. "I miss you too, love." Knowing that she felt the same way? That she was aching to see me just as much? It was an out of world feeling.
"I was planning to go in an hour, if it's good for you."
"I'll pick you up in an hour." I promised.
"Thank you. Bye!"
"Bye, love"
I was slightly aware that if I go into her apartment we may never leave, but that didn't really make me not want to go inside. Except Abbie was three steps ahead, already waiting for me outside.
Her smile was brighter than the fucking sun as she stood on the pavement in her light purple summer dress.
"Hi." She smiled, pushing her red hair behind her shoulders when she got in next to me.
"Hi." I murmured, not being able to take my eyes off her. She looked so fucking gorgeous and I missed seeing her this up close. Fucking adorable. "You look..." I sighed. "I can't even put it into words." I shook my head.
"I will take it as a compliment." She giggled, leaning over, softly brushing her lips against mine. I was so ready to deepen the kiss, but she pulled away way too soon for my liking.
