Clara

My forehead leaned against the cold tile while the water ran down my body. Shivers shook my body as it tried to increase the head inside me. I had completely cut Abigail's presence out of my life, and that... that caused a few shit to go through me.

I was so hyper fixated on watching her almost every hour of the day that not doing it not just felt wrong, but it was painful. I didn't do it completely because of what Ava said. It was more about the challenge. Was I able to stop it? Was I able to stop tracking her? Because if we really had a chance and we really started dating I had to stop. But I had to know if I was able to do it.

So I stopped. For about several days all the information I got from Abigail was through her social media. Which she managed very carelessly if I can say. Most of the time she put in her location, showing me where she was at the moment. But I didn't search for it. She just threw it in my face, so it didn't count as my failure. And as they say if it's available online it is not stalking.

"Babe!"

Fuck!

"Yes?" I yelled out, turning the water off.

"Can I join?" I heard his voice through the door of my bathroom.

"I'm done actually." I lied, jumping out, drying my skin with my white towel.

"Alright."

Why are you still here, dude?

That was my problem with sleeping with men. They never knew when to stop and leave. I wouldn't do it if I wasn't attracted to them.

"What are you doing?" I stopped mid tucking my white shirt into my pants, when my eyes landed on my kitchen table."What is this?" I pointed at the food. Why are you still here?!!

"I made breakfast." He shrugged, his black shirt from last night rolling up and revealing a part of his abs.

"Sweet." I murmured. "But I have stuff to do so..." Our eyes met for a second before he would look away awkwardly.

"Of course. I got my clothes and I'm out of here." He walked past me, into my bedroom. I wasn't really a having breakfast type of woman. And I wasn't about to change that today, even if the food looked really good. I seriously had errands to run, I wasn't lying about them, so after he finally left my home, I grabbed my car keys, my notebook and my laptop and exited the building.

I read through the emails my clients left me, and wrote some answers and updates for a few of them. I had a meeting in a little coffee shop with one of my long-time clients.

My work... a very private thing. I'm a private investigator mostly for law firms but sometimes I'm available for personal reasons too. Beside that I have a security company which basically helps people not to get spied on. I do both sides for usually the same firm. Because when they realize how easily I can gather information about a person, they fear the same. So they want to prevent it. And they pay me to do it so.

Win-win if you ask me.

I placed my laptop in front of me in the corner of the coffee shop while I was waiting. I opened instagram and logged in my only account. The only thing I used it for was to look at my target's social media and at the moment, to look at Abigail's.

She just posted an insta story about her morning training so I assumed she was still at the studio. My chest tightened a little as I processed the information. The picture was only about a mirror and her shoes. And I wanted to see her. Badly. So fucking badly. But I stopped myself before I could storm out and sneak a peek.
