After Joo-young went and sat on his seat, Attorney Kang looked at the judge and said, "Your honor, clearly there is something more to the case then we know. And all the evidences provided against my clients, are almost proven invalid by me. So, I would like for the court to give my client and a bail and give us time to time out with evidence to prove him innocent. I would also like the court to ask the prosecutor to come with more valid and strong evidences next time and to not waste court's valuable time," she finished and went to sit.
The judge write something and then looked up, "Taking in all witness and evidences, the court decided to give bail to Mr. Kim Namjoon and a week time to come up with evidence for his innocence. Prosecution also get same time to come up with valid evidences and not waste any more time of court and the people. The court is adjourned"he said and stood up
Everyone else stood up as well and watched the judge go. Joo-young stood up furiously and left the court room, his prosecutor leaving just after.
The siblings immediately went towards Namjoon. Namjoon let out a heavy sigh, all this too much for him.
"Oppa, you alright?" YN asked immediately as Namjoon came out from the victim box. He nodded his head.
Attorney Kang looked at the police officer, "Will you please remove his cuffs now?"
The officer hesitated for a moment before nodding and stepping forward to unlock Namjoon's cuffs. The sound of the metal clicking open was almost deafening in the heavy silence. Namjoon rubbed his wrists, the red marks from the cuffs evident.
"Thank you," Attorney Kang said firmly, before turning back to Namjoon. "You're free to go for now, but remember, we have limited time. Don't let this weigh you down too much; focus on helping me build your case."
Namjoon nodded weakly, his gaze falling to the ground. "I'll try. But this... all of this..." His voice broke slightly. "I don't even know where to start."
Jin placed a comforting hand on Namjoon's shoulder. "You don't have to figure it out alone, Joon. We're all in this together."
"Exactly," Yoongi added, his expression calm but his voice resolute. "We'll find the evidence we need. There's no way we're letting you go through this without a fight."
YN stepped closer, her voice gentle yet firm. "Oppa, you've always been the strongest one for us. Let us be strong for you now. Trust us, okay?"
Namjoon managed a small, grateful smile. "I do. I trust you all more than anything."
Attorney Kang adjusted her bag on her shoulder and addressed the siblings. "We need to regroup and plan our next steps. I'll set up a meeting tomorrow morning to go through everything we have so far. Namjoon, make sure you rest tonight. You'll need a clear mind."
"Thank you, Ms. Kang," Jin said, bowing slightly. "We'll make sure he's ready."
As they exited the courtroom together, the media swarmed outside, cameras flashing and reporters shouting questions. Namjoon flinched at the chaos, but Taehyung and Jungkook immediately stepped in front of him, shielding him as they made their way to the car.
Inside the vehicle, the tension was palpable. Jungkook finally broke the silence. "Hyung, do you remember anything else from that night? Anything that could help?"
Namjoon shook his head in frustration. "I've told you everything I know. It's like... like there are pieces missing, but I can't put them together."
"Then we'll find those pieces," Jimin said, his tone filled with quiet determination. "We'll talk to people, retrace your steps, do whatever it takes."
Yoongi glanced out the window, scanning their surroundings. "And we'll keep an eye on Joo-young. He's hiding something, and it's only a matter of time before he slips."
Namjoon sighed heavily, leaning back in his seat. "I just hope it's enough."
"It will be," YN said firmly. "We're not giving up, oppa. We're going to prove your innocence, no matter what."
Namjoon nodded his head and kept his head on YN's shoulder. "It feels so much better than being in the prison alone," he mumbled.
YN's eyes softened more as she ran her hand through his hair, "I can understand Oppa. We all also felt so lonely without you with us."
After that, there was complete silence in the car until Jimin decided to break it. He looked at Namjoon, but found him already asleep. So, he looked at Jin instead. "Hyung...," he called out softly.
Jin who was sitting while his eyes closed, opened them and looked at Jimin, giving a soft hum.
Jimin hesitated a bit and then softly said in a low tone, "After reaching hotel... When Hyung wake up... How about we ask him to have a talk with Rebecca Noona?" he suggested.
Yoongi who was resting on Hoseok's lap, sat down listening to him. "What? Suddenly?"
"Not suddenly Hyung. I know... We already have so much problems going on here, but Noona is in pain as well... And even tho we all can understand that pain, only Hyung can feel the same pain as her and he is the only one she might get comfort for now. As much as we need them both of stay strong, i think it will be better if they both have a talk and just... Let it all out Hyung," Jimin said making all the elders think about his words.
"I agree with Chim, Hyungs. Noona and Hyung need each other now more than ever. They should talk about it," Taehyung said supporting Jimin who gave him a small smile.
All three elder brothers looked at each other. "I guess we should suggest Namjoon about it. Later it's his decision," Hoseok said breaking the silence.
Jin and Yoongi nodded their heads. "Yeah, Hobi's right. Also, we have to make sure whatever mess is happening here... Not a single word should reach to any of our family members. They will get worried and that is the last thing we might need now," Jin said and Yoongi nodded his head agreeing.
"But Hyungs...," Jungkook suddenly said gaining the attention of everyone except the one who is sleeping, "What if Hyung breaks down more? It's not something they will forget just after a talk. And Namjoon Hyung is already half broken. I don't want my Hyung to go through more pain"
The Hyungs looked at each other, sensing the concern in the maknaes voice and face. Taehyung, who was sitting beside Jungkook, held his hand, give it a assuring squeeze. "Don't worry Kook. Our Namjoon Hyung is strong. Stronger than any of us. He won't break down. He will fight, for himself."
Jimin nodded his head, "Yes Kook. Namjoon Hyung won't give up. He believes in himself... And us. He trust us and we won't let anything happen to our Hyung"
The brothers were all busy talking so no one noticed YN who was on her phone, texting someone. After she was done, she smirked and looked up and called "Oppa..."
