The Kim siblings thought they were finally free-free to live, to laugh, to escape the shadows of their past.
A trip abroad was supposed to be a time to unwind, to strengthen their bond after all they had endured. But peace is fleeting, and darkness...

“What? How?” Hoseok exclaimed, his voice trembling as the room fell silent around him. The phone was on speaker, and every word from the other end echoed in the quiet living room.
The siblings listened intently, their faces reflecting a mix of shock and disbelief. The explanation, from the person on other side of call, came in a calm but heavy tone, leaving no room for doubt. Each sentence only deepened the pit of despair they felt forming in their chests.
When the call finally ended, Hoseok put the phone down slowly. He ran a hand through his hair, leaning forward with his elbows on his knees, looking like the weight of the world had just crashed onto his shoulders.
“Is this even real?” YN whispered, her voice barely audible, as if saying it out loud would make it more true.
Taehyung’s lips quivered as he looked between his siblings. “Why does it feel like this nightmare just keeps getting worse?”
Jimin, seated beside him, placed a trembling hand on his twin’s shoulder. “Wish we knew, Tae... but we'll get through this” he said, though his tone was shaky. He wasn’t even sure he believed his own words.
Jungkook, who had been sitting on the floor with his knees pulled up to his chest, suddenly punched the carpet. “Why can’t we catch a break? Namjoon-hyung doesn’t deserve this!”
Hoseok lifted his head, his eyes glassy but filled with a mix of frustration and sadness. “None of us deserve this,” he said softly, but the bitterness in his voice was evident.
Jin pinched the bridge of his nose, trying to hold himself together. “We need to stay strong—specially for Namjoon,” he said, though his voice cracked slightly at the end.
YN, sitting beside Jungkook, hugged her knees tightly. “But everything’s falling apart, Jin-oppa,” she whispered, tears streaming silently down her cheeks. “How are we supposed to stay strong when it feels like we’re gonna lose him one way or another?”
Hoseok leaned back, closing his eyes for a moment before speaking. “We’ll figure it out. We have to. Namjoon needs us now more than ever. Especially after this,” he said, pointing to his phone, which had just delivered the horrifying news.
The room fell into a suffocating silence, each sibling trying to process what they’d just heard.
Jin exhaled deeply, breaking the quiet. “We have to tell Namjoon,” he said firmly, his voice filled with a sense of responsibility.
Everyone turned to him, their faces a mixture of shock and disbelief.
“Hyung, are you crazy?” Yoongi asked sharply, leaning forward to sit across from Jin. “He’s already dealing with enough, and you want to pile this on him too? He’ll break.”
Jungkook, still seated on the floor, nodded in agreement. “Yes, Jin-hyung. We can’t tell Joon-hyung about this… not now. He’s already struggling. This will push him over the edge.”
