After lunch breal, everyone gathered back in the court room. The Kim siblings expected Joo-young's confidence to low down knowing the audio would be proven false but Joo-young was sitting there with his smug smirk still on his face.

They ignored him and sat in the audience and watched as Namjoon again made his way to the accused box whole Minha was standing in the witness box.

Soon the judge came and the trial began again. The judge cleared his throat and looked towards the prosecutor. "Prosecutor Choi, is the evidence you submitted verified?"

Mr. Choi stood up confidently. "Yes, Your Honor. The forensic team has confirmed the audio is authentic and has not been tampered with."

The courtroom erupted into whispers. The Kim siblings froze.

What?

"That’s impossible," YN muttered under her breath. "It has to be fake."

Joo-young chuckled lowly, just loud enough for them to hear. "Surprised?" he taunted without turning his head.

Jin clenched his fists. "That bastard."

Attorney Kang stood up. "Your Honor, we request an independent expert to analyze this audio. Given the circumstances, we cannot trust the prosecution’s source."

The judge considered for a moment before nodding. "Very well. An external expert will review the evidence. In the meantime, Ms. Kang Min-ha, continue your testimony."

Min-ah turned to Namjoon, her expression unreadable. "I was there that night. I heard Namjoon admit to the crime himself."

Namjoon’s jaw tightened. "Lies."

Min-ah didn’t flinch. "You were angry, Namjoon. You told me everything. You said Minji had to die because she was a threat."

Yoongi’s voice was ice-cold as he muttered, "This woman is playing a dangerous game."

Jimin leaned forward. "We need to prove she’s lying before it’s too late."

Taehyung nodded. "YN, do you think your team can do something?"

YN exhaled, trying to calm her racing heart. "They’re already working on it. But we need time."

Jungkook clenched his fists. "Then we stall until we get that proof."
