As planned, YN and Hoseok went to Joo-young's house. YN presses the doorbell and stepped back, her hands tightening into fists as they waited. Moments later, the door creaked open, revealing Joo-young. His expression flickered with a shock before selling into an unreadable mask.
"Hoseok? YN? What brings you here?" he asked with an innocent expression.
Hoseok stepped forward, "Don't play dumb, Joo-young. You know exactly why we're here."
Joo-young bit his lower lip, hesitating for a moment before putting on a nonchalant act. "I have no idea what you are talking about," he said, his words casual but his expression betraying him.
"Drop the act," Hoseok snapped, his voice laced with impatience. "We're not here to play games. If you know something, say it."
Joo-young let out and exaggerated sigh. "So Namjoon spilled everything, hub? What a crybaby," he answered. "Always running to his brothers for help. Fucker can't even keep his mouth shut for once."
Both YN and Hoseok stiffened, their anger simmering at his words. Hoseok stepped forward, his fists clenched. “You piece of—”
"Oppa, no!" YN grabbed Hoseok's arm, "Don't give him what he wants. He's trying to provoke you. Don't lose your control"
Hoseok exhaled sharply, glaring at Joo-young but stepping back, "Sat one more word about Namjoon, and I swear—”
"Relax," Joo-young interrupted, his smirk deepening. "You should focus on controlling yourself. Who knows, maybe you'll end up joining your brother behind the bars."
That was it. Hoseok moved forward again, only for YN to pull him back harder, her glare fixed on Joo-young.
“You think this is funny?” YN said coldly. “We’re not leaving until you tell us what you know. So stop with your games.”
"Games? Oh dear, I haven't even started my game yet. Cause if I had, you wouldn't be standing here infront of me," he said.
YN rolled her eyes, "Yoongi Oppa was right about you. We should have never trusted you," she said.
Joo-young smirked as he began to close the door, but YN swiftly stuck her foot in, preventing it from shutting. Her eyes blazed with determination as she leaned closer.
“What’s the hurry, Joo-young? Are you afraid that if we stay longer, your secret will slip out?” she asked, tilting her head mockingly.
Joo-young snickered, his smirk turning bitter. “Afraid of you? Don’t flatter yourself,” he sneered, shoving the door harder against her foot. “Now, get lost.”
With one forceful push, he managed to shut the door, leaving YN and Hoseok standing on the porch. YN took a deep breath, her fists clenched at her sides, preparing to take out her frustration when the door creaked open again.
