A few years before Trolls World Tour:

Trollex was swimming around the kingdom when he saw a female Techno Troll with light purple skin and turquoise hair

King Trollex: Wow 😍

Then he went to the troll

Techno Troll: Oh hello your highness

King Trollex: Hi there can I ask you something

Techno Troll: Of course

King Trollex: Would you

Then a storm came and some of the Techno Trolls went missing after the storm was over

Present Day:

King Trollex: *thinking about what happened years ago*

Poppy: You ok Trollex?

King Trollex: Huh? Oh yeah I'm fine just thinking about something that happened years ago

Queen Barb: What happened?

King Trollex: I don't like talking about it

Queen Essence: If this is worrying you Trollex you should talk about it

Delta Dawn: Yeah we're here for you sugar

King Trollex: Well years ago there was a huge storm and some of the Techno Trolls were lost after it 😔

King Quincy: Oh sorry to hear that Trollex

Trollzart: That must be hard

King Trollex: It is and it was supposed to be a great day and I was about to ask a troll I liked out I didn't even get her name but I remember what she looked like and she is one of the trolls that were lost 😔

Poppy: Oh poor thing 🥺

King Trollex: If I knew where she was I'd be there now but she's probably long gone

Queen Barb: Wait if a storm happened and some were lost wouldn't the storm have just blown away

King Trollex: I don't know no one could find any trace of them

Poppy: Maybe we can go looking for them in case they are alive

Then they head to Techno Reef and explore the kingdom to find the lost Techno Trolls

Poppy: Trollex what's this symbol

King Trollex: Symbol?

Then she points at a wall and they see a seashell and ocean wave on the wall

King Trollex: Never seen that before. It's not a Techno Troll thing

Techno Troll Guard: Hey what are you doing here 😡

Delta Dawn: What's going on?

Then the guards take them

King Trollex: What are you doing?

Techno Troll Guard: Taking you to our leader

King Trollex: What? You guys are Techno Trolls like me

Techno Troll Guard: Nope not like you. You don't have a seashell or ocean wave symbol on you anywhere

Then they takes the leaders to their leader
