Puppy Interview With Confusion Irwin

It was a typical day at Trickee's pod and Kismet was hanging out

They turn on the tv and see an interview

Madeline: Hi I'm Madeline Ellis and this is the puppy interview today wildlife conservationist Confusion Irwin it's nice to have you on the show

Confusion: Glad to be here mate *notices a puppy climbing on his lap* Hello darling 

Puppy: *barks happily* 😄

Madeline: I assume that this is normal for you to be around animals

Confusion: Yes it is it's not always animals that are cute and cuddly and in the outback my family looked after some baby dingos for a while and when they were this age holy dooley they were wild probably wilder than you little pups. I should've brought the khakis today I feel like I'm back at work

Madeline: What's your favorite animal fact?

Confusion: My favorite animal fact is that crocodiles can hold their breath for 8 hours 

Madeline: So Bindi is going to be on the next season of Dancing With The Stars has she asked you  for advice? 

Confusion: She has and I told her that it's gonna be hard and that you just have to go for it 

Madeline: How would you describe your experience on Dancing With The Stars?

Confusion: Oof that was a while ago wasn't it cause you were there as well 

Madeline: Yeah 

Confusion: I was on season 28 and what season are we currently at now?

Madeline: Season 31

Confusion: Wow so it was 3 years ago time flies mate. I thought that it was a fun experience Charlotte was a great partner and I made a lot of friends on the show 

Madeline: Are you still in contact with some of the other stars from your season?

Confusion: Yes I still talk to a lot of the stars from my season I feel like the further the competition went on the closer we all got because you never really get to see what goes on backstage and backstage we're all bonding having a laugh

Madeline: What do you think is the most misunderstood animal?

Confusion: I think the most misunderstood animal is snakes, crocodiles, or any reptile really. Reptiles are the critters that trolls often forget about because when a critter is so cute and cuddly like you little mates it's so easy for them to just get right into your heart but a critter with lots of sharp teeth and scales is a bit more difficult but I believe that they're just as important 

Then he pulls a puppy that was behind him on his lap

Confusion: Were you chewing on the mic pack? You're being a bit cheeky 

Puppy: 😄

Confusion: Crocodiles are very loving towards each other and mom crocodiles are very protective of their children they're more than these big predators and I'm a big believer in showing the softer sides of the critters trolls would be more fearful of 

Madeline: What's the wildest thing that's happened during your conservation work?

Confusion: This is something that happened not that long ago so I rescued this snake that was hit by a car we got him all patch up and I go to release him into the wild and the snake looks at me and swings his head around and goes whack and bite me right around the eye. Top teeth went here bottom teeth were here my face started to bleed and my mom saw this and was freaking out and rushed me to the hospital to make sure that there was no venom and luckily the snake was not venomous and the doctors fixed the places the snake bit and I'm fine

Madeline: So I heard that you're now a father 

They notice a puppy going to the bathroom

Confusion: Oh wow ok *sees another sniffing it* No don't you get into it *sees the puppy is still going to the bathroom* Oh we're still going you know what it's ok it happens better out than in

Madeline: We might want to get that cleaned up 

Someone cleans it up 

Confusion: What was the question?

Madeline: What's life like as a father?

Confusion: It's been great it started out a little rocky he kept me up for a few nights but he's now sleeping through the night my family has been a big help throughout this experience because I had him on my own 

Madeline: What's his name?

Confusion: I named him Tricky I named him after my father Trickster and after someone else who I will not mention because I don't feel comfortable telling it on social media because he might have some hatred toward me 

Madeline: Are you happy to be a dad?

Confusion: Tricky is the best thing that happened to me he's a really happy baby and even though he's a baby the Irwin genes are really strong with him when I take him outside to see the critters he's crawling to them he just has no fear I have to hold him so he doesn't crawl off and get hurt from the critters 

Madeline: So you're doing a lot now in your career is there anything else you'd like to do

Confusion: I've been doing a lot I've done Dancing With The Stars which was something I wasn't expecting to do and I've been racing but I'd like to do some acting in movies like if I could get into a Jurassic Park movie that would be cool I don't care if I get eaten in the first 20 seconds of being in the park let's go I deal with crocodiles everyday dinosaurs would be no problem 

Madeline: Who's slid into your DMs recently

Confusion: Mostly it's trolls that have connections to my grandfather or dad and there have been so many trolls in the world that have been inspired by them and what they stand for and it is such an honor to continue that legacy and it's really hard to have a really heartfelt conversation while holding a chew toy and having my jacket being tugged on but I'd have to check who's slid into my DMs recently 

Then he pulls his phone out to check

Confusion: Let's see some other conservationists like Diego, Sun, and Pablo are in here. The DMs are a very eclectic place there's a few trolls I have to get back to after this *puts his phone away*

Madeline: What would you say your love language is?

Confusion: Probably physical touch and quality time I'm a hugger and I love to spend time with the different critters and I really love spending quality time with my brother Bay and my son Tricky 

Madeline: You've been on camera a lot do you have a favorite moment?

Confusion: Basically most of my life has been on camera my dad and grandfather were filming their critter show and my mom was holding my egg and bay's egg and during it Bay and I hatched so basically most of our lives have been on camera but any moment with my family is a favorite 

Madeline: What's your ultimate goal?

Confusion: My ultimate goal is spreading my message of wildlife conservation animals are amazing and they can really brighten your day 

Then the interview ends 

Trickee: I thought I wouldn't have to hear about him again 

Branch: I mean he is spreading a pretty big message wildlife conservation is something that's really big now and it's great that someone is doing this 

Ablaze: Yeah he seems to want to help the animals 

Trickee: Doesn't change who he is

Branch: Trickee will you ever just let it go

Trickee: Doubt it 

Branch: Oh boy
