Finding A Home part 2

Chapter 1

Recently things have been hectic. Making wedding plans the floral arrangements the color of the dresses. Everything is being planned perfectly. We haven't been this happy in our entire lives.

Today I'm going out with Steph. She has become my best friend, besides Stevie of course.

"Tell me again why you're making me come with you shopping for a wedding gift when drinking for my youtube channel was offered?"

"Well Steph. 1.) I'm underage and putting that on youtube coukd be dangerous. 2.) You actually own a home so you know what homes need.
3.) I didn't want to look like a loner at the store."

"Okay whatever. What do you have in mind Alls?"

"Honestly I have no idea. That's why you're coming! I want to be able to use it myself sense you know I'm living with them and it's now my home too. We all should benifits from thus wedding in my opinion" I say trying to sound sincere but failing.

"Wow really Allie? Haha. I can't believe you right now. But I guess you're kinda right it's your home too. But then again it is THEIR wedding."

"Steph. I love you. But I'm still kinda getting this gift for me as well don't sit here and guilt me out of it. Help a sista out and tell her what to get."

"Alright,alright. I will. But you have to do a favor for me."

"I'm fine with that."

We got to the store and begin browsing. Steph points out this coffee machine that you put flavor stuff in. She then noticed the Starbucks flavors and spoke with her eyes. I knew she'd label me an idiot if I didn't get them this. It was obviously the perfect gift. Stevie and Ally getting Starbucks without leaving the house is more than they could ever ask for.

Steph packs it to the car while I finish writing the check for it,sense I didn't have my debit card on hand.

Once I told the cashier thank you and good by I turn around to head out to the car to join Steph. But drop my purse and freeze. An overwhelming fear rushed over me. I could hardly think. I just stared. My father was but only a short distance away from me. Bruises on his neck from...my hands. I didn't think I could do that. He turns his head and locks his eyes on mine. His face forms a devilish smile that I knew far too well. For a moment I stood there. Unable to breathe. Once he took his first step I thawed out immediately. Grabbing my purse and running two the car.

I jump in the passanger seat screaming for Steph to drive

"Hey,calm down what's going on you're hyperventilating?!" She asked worried about seeing me in such a state.

Unable to speak I point at my father running out of the store to come after me. Steph still wasn't exactly sure what was going on but she knew staying there would make me worse.
She got out of there as fast as she could. But I was still worried. I couldn't catch my breath. I began to feel light headed,tingly. Like I was going to pass out.

"Alls calm down. Talk to me." She grabs on to my hand as of she were holding on to my life.

"Come on talk to me! That's it I'm calling Stevie and Ally and taking you to the hospital!"

My eyes wouldn't stay open. But I tried so hard to keep them open. To see if my father had followed us. But I felt week. Tired. Maybe if I leave them close just for a mom..."
