Allie was just looking around for Stevie. You could tell she needed her like she needed air at this point. It was weird how they were so close. But I could understand it.

Everyone looked to me to speak. Allie grabbed my hand and brought me next to the bed. "Something had happened." Ally said.

"Stevie got into an accident. There was a lot of blood coming from her head. She's in emergency surgery now." I said calmly trying to make this less alarming for her.

She layed back in her pillow dumbstruck. She didn't cry. She didn't move. You could've sworn she was Ally Hills in that moment. Making the face of loss Ally had made when she first seen her little Allie in the hospital bed.

Torey held her hands and placed yet another kiss on her cheek. What I was doing before her, day after day.

"Stevie is strong. I know she can do this." Torey said trying to comfort her cause Ally to roll her eyes.

Allie just layed there unable to speak. Not talking to anyone. Only nodding and listening to questions and commands. I want to wrap her up in my embrace and put her back together. But everyone seemed to be crowding her. I thought it was best to give her space.

"Torey,I get you two were family. That you're just here to look after her. But that's my job now. I'm here family now. You need to leave so I can take care of her. So I can take care of Stevie if..when she gets out. Please."

"Ally,I know how independent you are. I know how powerful you can be for who you love. It's something I've admired. But you can't take care of both of them properly alone. Besides she's still my family. And I'm not going anywhere until she tells me to. Cause you don't turn your back on family. You know that. So rather you like it or not I'm staying. To make sure they're both okay. Cause I was Stevie's friend before all this. I do still care for her. I'm not heartless."

"She's right Ally. Besides Torey is her only biological family that she cares about. The only one that makes her feel like her being born wasn't a mistake. You can't take that away from her." Danny defending Torey out of respect of their old friendship. Also trying to help what he thought of as his beloved niece.

"Ally, let her stay." I said placing my hand on my shoulder.

"Ally I wouldn't. I'll help take care of her. I live that kid and Stevie both I'll live at your house until they're better if I have to. You don't need Torey back in here. Imagine Stevie's reaction when she wakes up to her." Moonshine responded.

"How about you all leave me alone. To get dressed. To think. Go out to the hallway and wait for Stevie. Wait to hear something anything. Please stop talking like im not here anyway. Torey is my family too and I want her here. Stop trying to get her out of my life like my parents did. I'm 17 I'm not entirely helpless. I can make choices for myself. Please just stop this. Leave me alone for one minute I need time to catch up." Allie began screaming. But her face still remained emotionless.

Everyone began leaving the room.

"Steph?"

"Yeah Alls?" I said softly worried she was mad at me.

"Can you stay back for a second?"

"Yeah, of course."

I walked back over to her and she was setting up in her bed. She stood up and looked at me for a moment blank. She then pulled me into her hugging on to me tightly. Her arms wrapped perfectly around my waste and her head placed on my shoulder. I then wrapped mysekf up to her enjoy the warm embrace that I've missed that lasted a little longer than usual.

"I thought he was gonna kill you Steph. I don't care what he does to me. I was afraid he was gonna get you. I'm so happy you're okay. You mean the world to me. You never fail to be there right there when I need you. Please stay okay?" She said feeling a bit helpless despite the early statement.

"We're both okay Allie. Don't you worry. I'll always be here for you. There's no place I'd rather be than with you." I told her without breaking the hug.

"Steph,is she going to be alright?" She asked as she began silently crying. I knew because I could feel the tears on my neck.

"I'm sure she'll be. She's a fighter. She fought for you and won. She'll win this." I stroked her hair as I spoke

"I need to meet the rest of my family out there now. Where are my clothes?" She said finally breaking the hug. This time her face wasn't so blank.

"Here I had them folded and washed in thus cabinet here. I wanted you to have fresh clothes when you woke up."

"When did you have time to do that?" She asked confused

"Well I had plenty. I spent all my time here really. I had Bria bring me clothes here. I couldn't leave you. I didn't want you to be alone when you woke up." I said feeling awkward because it sounds a but creepy out loud.

"Wow Steph, that means the world to me. I'm so lucky to have you." She said grabbing my hand. "How long did I keep you here?" She continued.

"Well? I'm not sure. It a felt like one long never ending day. Like a movie staying on the same scene never ending. I held your hand trying to hold you here. Afraid if I let go. You'd let go." I said feeling sick remeber the exact feeling I had then.

"I'd never let go of you." She said not breaking eye contact and kissing me in the cheek not letting go if my hands. "Happy I'm awake to do to that" she said with a radiant smile. "I'm gonna go out there now. Face the struggle." She said.

"Alright. Let's do this."
