Chapter 8

Allie's POV

I'm happy Steph is here. She makes things a little easier. She makes everything easier. I have no clue what I'd do without her. The fact she didn't leave my bed side. That's,that's amazing. She's amazing. I want to go out and Celebrate but I can't.

I'm too filled with worry for Stevie. I could've done something if I was there. I knew I could. I don't know who did this. Or why. All I know is if I figure it out I'm gonna kill them. Nobody touches my family. Not a person.

We walk out and the first thing I do is wrap myself around Ally

"Don't scare us like that Alls. You're ours. We need you. We faught for yiu tk be with us and we'll fight for you to stay with us. I thought we were gonna lose you. I love you okay? You understand that I love you and I need you and I can't live without you alright?" She said crying while she had me pulled into her breast.

"I love you too Ally. I'm alright. I'm here. I'm not going anywhere. Everything is okay."

We stayed in that hug for a couple of minutes,then I hugged Torey a bit tighter.

"I've missed you. I'm so sorry I haven't been there but I didn't think you wanted me to anyway. I thought you were homophobic too. I thought you hated me. I'm sorry. I should've been there and I should've gotten you out of that he'll hole. You could've lived with me I would've taken care of you. But things are alright now. I'm here now." She was crying as well.

"Torey,you didn't know. You had no idea. We can talk about it later. I'll come over soon. We can talk then. Know I don't blame you for anything and I'm happy you're here. I really am happy you're here. It's good to see someone who a grew up with. To see someone I have a natural born bound with. I don't know it's just good to see famiky I was born into and not ashamed of I guess." I laughed.

She laughed back and gave me the kinda hug where you rock back and fourth. I could feel the smile on her face as she was resting it on top of my head.

"Come to your crazy uncle!" Danny said loud but with a straight face.

We hugged and he ran his fingers through my hair

"Little Allie. I'm sorry I didn't get to Stevie in time. I tried my best. His voice cracked.

"It's not your fault. You either moonshine. I guess we just have to wait to see." I said trying to seem calm so Ally wouldn't lose it. Knowing that if I broke,she'd break with me.

"Torey,give me your number and I'll call later. Stevie waking up to you might not be the best sign. Ally isn't doing the best woth you here either. I need to be here. With them. The family I chose to be apart of. Not that you're any less valid. But this is apart of my new life and they take care of me. I have to take care of them. Please understand?"

She put her number in my phone and I out kine in hers. She nodded understanding,gave me a quick hug and left.

I sat up on the wall where she was in the same potion she was. I guess it's just our thing. It's comforting. Steph sat next to me. She unfolded me from the earlier potion and had me lay my head in her lap.

"You need to lay down. I can tell your in pain." She spoke softly playing with my hair.

I turned my head up at her and she looked down at me.

"Steph,I'm worried about her. That's painful."

"Yes of course. But you keep cringing. You're getting migranes. The doc said that was normal but caused the body a lot of stress. Or at least it would for awhile. You're physically weak rn and tiny stuff like that can hurt you. You need to sleep."

"I've literally been asleep for days. Besides I'm not doing anything until I know Stevie is alright."

"Alls. You're not okay right now we need to take care of you too. If you don't go to sleep it'll be harder to heal what's been damaged and Stevie won't have a little Allie to wake up to. Please. I can't tell you're tired" she said while still playing with my hair. Managing to look stunning while stressed.

I set up and placed my head on her shoulder feeling embarrassed.
"I'm,I'm afraid to fall asleep. I've missed a lot. I don't want to miss something again."

"Hey,if anything happens I'll wake you up. Cause you'll wake up this time. I got you okay?"

"Promise?" I say turning my head towards her as she does the same.

She looked me in the eyes and promised me she'll wake me up the minute they find something out.

I layed down placing my head on lap. She placed her jacket over me and gave me a kiss on the forhead,then the cheek. Once she began to play with my hair again,I was out like a light.

OMG GUYS I'M SO SORRY FOR MY UPDATING MESSING UP. THERE'S BEEN A FLOOD HERE AND PEOPLE HAVE DIED AND LOST HOMES AND I'VE BEEN HELPING OUT MY DOWN ALL WHILE PREPARING FOR SCHOOL. CAUSE SCHOOL IS STARTING BACK TOO. I'M TRYING REALLY HARD TO GET BACK INTO UPDATING OFTEN. I'M SORRY. I HOPE YOU'RE ENJOYING THIS THOUGH.
