"Ma vie~" you called out, your voice trembling with emotion. The French endearment hung in the air, a poignant reminder of the intimate moments you had shared with Jungkook.
Jungkook's eyes, which had been gazing out at the sky, slowly closed, as if he was trying to shut out the pain. His fists clenched at his sides, the tendons in his hands standing out in stark relief. His chest rose and fell with a deep, shuddering breath, and for a moment, he seemed to be frozen in time, unable to move or respond.
The silence between you was oppressive, heavy with unspoken emotions and unresolved tensions. You waited, your heart pounding in your chest, for some sign, any sign, that Jungkook was still with you, that he still cared. But the silence stretched out, a seemingly endless expanse of nothingness that threatened to consume you whole.
You took a shaky breath, the words tumbling out of your mouth like a confession. "I never knew that I would fall in love, well nobody knows that they will fell in love but," you began, a soft, melancholic chuckle escaping your lips. "Even though I wanted to, because I wanted to experience how love feels like, actually, in real life."
Jungkook's eyes, which had been closed, slowly opened, and he gazed up at the stars, his attention riveted on your words. The city lights twinkled below, but his eyes saw only the stars, and his heart heard only your voice.
You paused, collecting your thoughts as you stared out at the sky. "You know, when I was a kid, I felt so alone," you continued, your voice barely above a whisper. "It's not like my parents or friends weren't there, they were, but I always felt something inside me, something missing, like I wasn't whole. My soul and heart always longed for something, and yet I couldn't phrase what it was..."
Your voice cracked, and you took a deep, shuddering breath before continuing. "But Gugkie..." The nickname slipped out, a term of endearment that you had used only with Jungkook. Your voice cracked again, and you chuckled breathlessly, the sound tinged with sadness.
"W-when my soul saw you," you whispered, "it kind of went, 'Oh, there you are. I've been looking all over for you.' The words hung in the air, a poignant declaration of the deep connection you felt with Jungkook.
Jungkook's lips curled into a soft, melancholic smile as he listened to your words. The sound of your voice, the emotions that poured out of every sentence, it all seemed to wash over him, carrying him away on a tide of feelings.
The tears he had been holding back slipped silently down his cheeks, glistening in the dim light of the room. His eyes, red-rimmed and puffy, shone with a deep sadness, a sense of longing that seemed to echo through every cell of his body.
As he listened to your words, Jungkook felt his heart stir, felt the weight of his emotions bearing down on him.
You placed your hand on your chest, inhaling deeply as if to calm the storm of emotions brewing inside you. "Gugkie-" you whispered, your voice trembling with emotion. "You are the best thing to ever happen to me, and to call you the love of my life does not do justice to how much I love you."
Your words hung in the air, a heartfelt confession that seemed to shake the very foundations of your being. Jungkook's tears flowed freely now, his body shaking with silent sobs as he listened to your words.
"My existence doesn't make sense without you by my side," you continued, your voice cracking with emotion. The words poured out of you like a river, a torrent of feelings that had been bottled up for too long.
Your words hung in the air, a whisper that seemed to convey the depth of your emotions. "I'm sorry," you whimpered, your voice trembling with regret. "I didn't know I would fall in love with you, that too this hard."
