A few months passed since Fallon moved in with us and it has been fun, but so, so hard. Amber turned into a mom and I don't get to have any fun. I help out with Fallon and stuff, but it's just tiring. We are dead. How can a little girl effect us so much that the dead are tired? This is the second weekend this month that Fallon is with her living mother, Shelly.
Once we delivered Fallon, we immediately went back to the house and collapsed on the couch. "She is full of energy." Amber groaned.
"Can we steal some from her?" I asked, sarcastically.
"Danny, why did we do this? I'm clearly not ready to be a mother. Why didn't you stop me?" She asked me as she slowly turned her head and looked at me with her huge, sad eyes.
"You are doing fine." I assured her. "This is probably better than if you were alive because you would be dealing with the foster home and her dad. You would've needed to get a job so you had money to take care of her. It's a lot easier here." I smiled and held her hand.
"I feel like a bad girlfriend." She pouted.
"You are the best girlfriend anyone could ask for. Don't say that."
She started to tear up and I pulled her into my lap. "I just, I feel like you don't like me and that you're just dealing with me because you don't want to hurt me or something. You can leave any time."
"Stop it. I don't want to leave. I really like you. We have Fallon and I love her too. I'm not going anywhere." I told her and then kissed the top of her head.
"Thank you Danny." She hugged me and then kissed my cheek.
"Of course." I smiled.
"We need to have fun." She smiled.
"Okay, like what?"
"Call Crystal. We haven't seen her since your funeral. She seems like she can have fun." Amber smiled.
"Are you sure?" I asked her.
"Yes." She giggled. "I will get ready." She got up and went into the bedroom.
I pulled out my phone and dialed Crystal's number. "Hello?" She answered.
"Hey it's Danny." I said to her.
"Oh god Danny! Hey! How are you?" She said with a ton of excitement.
"I'm good. How are you?" I asked her with a chuckle.
"I'm great. I'm sad I haven't heard from you in a while." She said, with a little pout in her voice.
"Yeah I know. Do you want to hang out? Amber and I don't have Fallon this weekend and we need something to do." I explained.
"Oh yeah! Of course! Come over! What were you thinking of doing?" She asked me.
"Anything really. Fallon has us so exhausted and we need to do something fun. I seriously am going to die if I don't have some sort of entertainment in the next 5 minutes." I told her.
"You're dead already." She laughed.
"I will come back to life and die again." I laughed along.
"Okay. We will think of something. When are you going to be here?" She asked.
