AN: The initial portions of this chapter revolve around Siddharth and Neha. I received many requests for bonus chapters involving them however I just couldn't really think of any other than this, so decided to put it here instead. However, if you guys feel like it's distracting you from CWC's plot, please feel free to skip it. I have put the remark from where the main plot starts so you can start reading from there.

Neha took a deep breath, her gaze shifting to the corner of her eyes where her husband and her assistant were huddled together, gossiping like old friends. She shared an exasperated glance with Karthik, who shook his head in solidarity, earning a chuckle from her.

Today was Karthik's monthly checkup, which naturally brought Siddharth to the hospital. While Neha reviewed Karthik's test reports in her cabin, Siddharth and Regina, had once again turned to their favorite pastime—gossiping about the latest hospital drama.

Neha realized she'd clearly made a mistake letting this habit slide. With each passing month, Siddharth seemed to look forward to these juicy updates more than their son's actual checkups.

Ana...

( But...)

Siddharth leaned lazily against the couch, propping his chin on his hand, and asked

Andha ponnu kitta sollama otukuradhu thappu illa?

( Isn’t it wrong to make decisions without even telling the girl?)

Siddharth questioned. However, Regina had the perfect answer to this, with a smirk she questioned back,

Unga amma'vum oru vagaile idhane'nga pannanga?

( Didn't your mother kind of did the same thing?)

Neha tried to stifle a chortle, but the second Siddharth snapped his head toward her, the effort crumbled. She burst into uncontrollable laughter, her voice filling the room. Siddharth, on the other hand, remained stone-faced. Meanwhile, Karthik stood there, scratching his head in utter confusion, as if he’d missed the inside joke.

Appo unga amma'kaga neenga kalyanam pannikitinga, inga avunga appa'ku. Ana emotion onnu dhane?

( Then, you got married for your mom, and here he’s doing it for his dad. But the emotions are the same, right?)

Neha was now fully laughing, her hand covering her mouth, as Siddharth continued glaring at her. Oh, if only Regina knew the truth.
