I remember the first time I saw Vinnie Vincent. It was at the audition. My heart felt like it had skipped a beat when he walked in. He wasn't just talented; he had this energy about him that pulled you in without trying. His confidence, the way he carried himself—it was magnetic. And then he played. God, the way he played. By the end of the audition, I was completely smitten.

It wasn't like me to fall so hard, especially not that fast. But something about him just... clicked. I knew I had to do something about it, though the thought of asking him out made my stomach twist into nervous knots.

A few days after he officially joined the band, I finally gathered the courage. I rehearsed what I'd say a hundred times in my head, but when the moment came, I was a jittery mess. He was sitting alone, strumming absentmindedly, and I walked over, heart pounding.

"Hey, uh, Vinnie?" My voice wavered slightly.

He looked up, smiling. "Yeah, Eric?"

I scratched the back of my neck, trying to keep from fidgeting. "I was wondering... would you want to grab dinner sometime? With me, I mean. Like... a date?"

For a moment, I thought I'd blown it. His smile widened, though, and he nodded. "I'd like that, Eric. A lot."

Relief and excitement coursed through me. That evening, we went to this little Italian place I liked—nothing fancy, just cozy. I couldn't stop glancing at him throughout dinner, and every time our eyes met, I'd look away, blushing like an idiot.

Vinnie noticed, of course. He noticed everything. At one point, he leaned forward, resting his chin on his hand. "You're adorable when you're nervous, you know that?"

I practically melted right then and there. "I'm not nervous," I lied, fiddling with my fork.

He chuckled softly, and the sound made my chest tighten in the best way. "Sure you're not," he teased, his voice warm.

After dinner, we walked around town, just talking. It felt so easy with him, even though I still couldn't shake the butterflies in my stomach. At one point, our hands brushed, and he took mine without hesitation. My heart raced, but I didn't pull away.

When we stopped under the soft glow of a streetlamp, he turned to face me fully. "Eric," he said, his tone gentler than I'd ever heard it.

"Yeah?"

"I think you're amazing," he said simply. Then he leaned in, pressing a soft, lingering kiss to my lips.

For a moment, the world disappeared. It was just him and me, and everything felt perfect.

From that night on, we were inseparable. Vinnie had this way of making me feel like I was the only person in the room, and every time he kissed me or pulled me into a hug, it was like all my worries melted away.

He flirted shamelessly, and I adored it. Every playful comment, every wink, every time he'd lean in just a little too close—it all made me fall for him even more. And when I finally started flirting back, his smile lit up like I'd given him the best gift in the world.

Being with Vinnie felt right in a way I couldn't explain. He wasn't just my bandmate or my boyfriend; he was my everything.

And as we stood onstage together night after night, sharing knowing smiles and secret touches, I knew I'd never been happier.
