The hospital room was bright, sterile, and buzzing with energy, but all Nancy could focus on was the overwhelming pain ripping through her body. She clutched Rudolf's hand with a strength that made him wince, his wedding band pressing into his skin. But he didn't complain. Instead, he leaned in, brushing sweaty strands of blonde hair from her face, whispering encouragements in that deep, accented voice of his.

"You got this, liebling," he murmured, his lips grazing her forehead. "Just a little more."

Nancy let out a groan, gripping his arm even tighter. "You better still think I'm hot after this, Schenker."

He grinned, despite the intensity of the moment. "Nancy, I would think you're hot even if you were breathing fire."

The doctor's voice cut through the tension. "One more push, Nancy, and your baby is here."

With a final, agonizing effort, she felt the pressure release, and then—crying. Loud, strong, and brand new.

"It's a boy!" The doctor announced, holding up a tiny, wriggling baby.

Nancy's chest heaved, half in relief, half in sheer joy. "A boy?" she breathed, her voice cracking.

Rudolf's eyes shimmered with emotion as he looked down at the little human in the doctor's hands. "A son," he repeated in awe. He kissed Nancy's temple. "We have a son, mein Engel."

But before they could fully take in the moment, Nancy's body tensed again. A sharp contraction tore through her.

"What the hell—" Nancy barely had time to react before the doctor's voice rang out.

"Wait! There's another baby!"

The room stilled for a moment, then chaos broke out again.

"Another?!" Rudolf's eyes widened in disbelief. "Nancy! We made two!"

She shot him a look between contractions. "Gee, you think?!"

Within minutes, another piercing cry filled the room.

"It's another boy!" the doctor declared.

Nancy slumped back against the pillows, exhausted but overwhelmed with joy. "Twins?" she gasped.

Rudolf was speechless, his eyes darting between the two squirming babies in the nurses' arms. Then, his stunned expression cracked into a broad, beaming smile. "TWINS!" He threw his hands in the air like he'd just won a rock concert. "Two sons! I am a champion!"

Nancy laughed breathlessly. "Yeah, yeah, take all the credit."

The first baby was placed into Nancy's arms, his tiny face wrinkled but perfect. The second was handed carefully to Rudolf, and for the first time in his life, the wild, fire-breathing guitarist was gentle. He held the little boy like he was the most fragile treasure in the world, his big hands supporting the baby's head.

He swallowed hard. "Mein Gott," he whispered, looking down at the tiny face. "You are so small... but I love you so much already."

Nancy turned her head, watching her husband—her big, strong, wild husband—completely melt in front of her. "They look like you," she whispered.

Rudolf beamed. "They have your mouth, though. And your nose. Thank God for that." He leaned over, kissing her softly. "Nancy, you are amazing."

She smiled tiredly, her heart full. "I think we both are."

~A Few Months Later~

Their house, once filled with the sounds of music and late-night jam sessions, was now a symphony of baby giggles and soft lullabies.

Nancy sat on the couch, one baby nestled in her arms while the other kicked happily in a bassinet nearby. Rudolf, ever the rockstar, had somehow turned diaper duty into a full-on production.

"Alright, my little rockstar," he cooed at the baby on the changing table. "This is a delicate process. It requires precision, skill, and—oh, no. No, no, no—"

A tiny stream of pee shot up, making direct contact with his shirt.

"Ahhh!" Rudolf yelped, jumping back. Nancy howled with laughter.

"Guess you should've moved quicker, Mr. Macho," she teased, wiping tears from her eyes.

Rudolf scowled playfully, peeling off his shirt and tossing it aside. "This is sabotage! Betrayal!" He scooped up the baby, holding him high. "You have wounded your father! But I forgive you, because you are cute." He peppered the baby's chubby cheeks with kisses, making him giggle.

Nancy shook her head, watching Rudolf with their son. He was so in love with being a dad, it made her heart ache in the best way.

Later that evening, after a long day of feedings, diaper changes, and lullabies, the two of them collapsed onto the couch. One baby lay sleeping on Rudolf's chest, while the other snuggled against Nancy.

Rudolf reached over, threading his fingers through Nancy's. "I thought I had everything before," he murmured. "The band, the music, the adrenaline... but this?" He glanced down at their sons, then back at Nancy. "This is my greatest song."

Nancy felt her throat tighten with emotion. "You're such a sap," she teased, squeezing his hand.

He smirked. "Only for you."

She leaned in, pressing her lips to his. "I love you, Rudolf Schenker."

He smiled against her lips, his voice a soft whisper.

"And I love you, Nancy Schenker."

Their sons stirred between them, but neither parent moved. They were exactly where they were meant to be.
