--4 years later--

Bolin moved in with Opal as their relationship has grown. 

Iroh and Ginger made things official with each other

a month after Korra left, Jinora finally proposed to Kai, since she didn't want to wait for him. He obviously said yes. They were fiancés for 4 years since they wanted a huge wedding and had to plan everything, plus they didn't want to rush into the wedding, it had to be just right. Which counting down the days their wedding was in 4 days.

Asami had her baby, a daughter she name her after her mother, Yasuko. Asami didn't want to continue to have a relationship with Mako because it was for the best. After Korra left, Asami fell into a depression almost losing her baby. Thankfully Samantha would come visit and cheer her up, so did Bolin and her father. Mako still co-parented with Asami, he'll spend days with Yasuko and sometimes come over to spend time with her.

Korra spent her years in the military. After her first year back, She was deployed for a battle that took place in Ba Sing Se that lasted 2 years but they won the war. She earned herself medals in honor of her bravery, sacrifice and service. She earned herself a total of 6 medals. She was offered a promotion from sergeant to master sergeant skipping 2 ranks. She declined.

The crew was having dinner together. Bolin looked over at the table, he saw how happy Iroh was with Ginger, Kai was happy with Jinora, Asami was happy with her daughter and so was Mako, and he was happy with Opal, everyone was a family but he got a bit emotional.

"you alright sweetie?" Opal asked 

"I miss her" Bolin sighed trying not to cry

"I know you do, at least you got to see her during her award ceremony" Opal rubbed his back 

"but that was last year" Bolin complained

"you think she'll show up to the wedding?" Iroh asked

"of course she will" Kai said "She has to, I made her my best man woman"

"What?!" Bolin shouted "I thought I was your best man!"

"fuck no, everyone needs a turn for to be the best man" Kai said "you're gonna be the best man if Mako ever gets married, and When you get married I'll be the best man"

"what, Korra's my best man" 

"well, I need a turn" Kai said

"figure it out"

"fine, I'll be Korra's best man, if she ever gets married"

"Woah woah woah, no that's my job" Bolin said making everyone laugh.

"did you send her a invitation?" Mako asked

"yes, I even told her that the rehearsal is tomorrow, so hopefully she shows" Kai sighed

"She's a good friend, she'll show" Jinora said

Asami hasn't seem Korra since the day she left. Part of her still holds onto the hope of them happening. But know with Yasuko, her hope is somewhat dying. If Korra came back and wanted to continue a life with Asami, would Korra care for Yasuko like her own. But for now, she can't worry about that, right now she has to focus on the company and her daughter, nothing else.

-the next day during rehearsal-

"Alright, how do you want everyone to walk down the aisle, traditional or you want to do you own way?" the wedding director "traditional, the officiant walks out, then the groom, the best men follows behind, then the groomsmen with the bridesmaids, then the maid of honor, followed by the follow girl or boy then the Bride, the officiant does he's thing than the ring bearer gives you the rings" she said
