Korra parked in front of the apartment building. She wasn't ready to go inside yet. She opened her glove compartment pulling out a flask that carried whiskey. She kept it as 'emergency' but it was just for rough days. Hopefully she doesn't get pulled over and gets her car searched one day.

"You're home late" Bolin said seeing his friend walk in
"Yeah, I helped Asami close today, since her father was out" Korra said
"Mako told me, how's he doing?"
"He's ok, he's going to be staying with Asami for awhile" she said
"So, Mako told me about you and Asami, he said he's gonna stay and hope Asami picks him" He said "He's not gonna let this chance pass him"
"Well, we're just going to have to be patient" Korra said walking to her room.
Bolin followed her "why are you taking this better than him?" he asked as he stood by her door frame
"Because Bo, I'm fine with whatever happens"
"That can't be true"

"How you feeling dad?" Asami went to check on her father with Samantha behind her
"I'm alright" he smiled "hello Sammy" he said seeing the girl "how's your old man?"
"He's doing good" she smiled "he asked me to come check on you since he's pretty busy"
"So, you know the situation with your best friend and these two lovers?"
"Oh my god, tell me about it" Samantha said and took a seat on the bed "do you know too?"
"Not all the details" he chuckled
"We're not doing this" Asami said rolling her eyes
"I personally say, Korra" Samantha said
"I always did like Korra" he smiled "but I want grandchildren"
"Well, they can adopt or there's IVF"
"That is true"
Asami couldn't believe this conversation "are you two done? and I don't want kids"
"Asami, please remember our agreement" he said
"What agreement" Samantha was curious
"My father here is ready to hand over the company to me but won't give it to me unless I'm married" she crossed her arms
"Look, I barely managed without having your mother around to help with the company, and I say barely only because you helped me, if it wasn't for you stepping in I would've given up on the company" he confessed "I just don't want you to do things alone"
Her phone rang. She looked at the name reading Korra's name. She excused herself and left the room. "Korra? Everything alright?"
"Y-yeah, how's your dad?"
"He's ok, thanks again for your help"
"Of course" Korra sounded genuine "how are you doing?"
"I'm fine, just you know.."
"Yeah, I know... did you need anything?" Korra asked wanting to help Asami in any way
"Actually, you think you can come over?...I could use some of your company" Asami asked
"Are you sure that's a good idea? You with the whole situation plus your dad"
"It'll be fine..please?"
