"YOUR ALARM CLOCK IS HERE! YOUR ALARM CLOCK IS HERE! YOUR ALAR-"

Midoriya silenced the ruckus of his alarm clock as his hand lazily drooped off and hung over the edge of the bed, his lips sputtering like a tired and lazy horse. Groaning himself to move he slowly lifted his buried face from the pillow and sat on the edge of the bed to yawn first, then reach for the sky and stretch out his back and arms. Though he would not reach that far as a sharp pop in his right elbow quickly drew the arm into his stomach where he gently cradled it, remembering the fact that it had been broken the day before. The pain now was not as excruciating as it was yesterday rather a constant soreness that bothered him to a certain amount, but he's tolerated worse before unfortunately. His lazy eyes drifted towards the clock where he stared at the 7:00 reading for a moment before they went wide and he remembered what he had planned for the day. Sliding off his bed he slipped into a pair of loafers, and shuffled his way towards the door.

Opening the door of his bedroom he was instantly greeted with the familiar sound of sizzling over a pan and the warm scent of tea alongside coffee. Midoriya exited his room and found his mother occupying the space in front of the oven, the woman quickly glancing over her shoulder to her son before turning back. "Good morning Izuku. Did you manage to sleep okay with that arm?"

"Hey Mom, and yeah I slept well enough actually. It's still really sore but it doesn't hurt as much as it did yesterday, I'll be fine."

"That's good to hear, would be even BETTER hearing you didn't break anything at all but I'll take what minimal amount of injuries I can get."

"Heh, y-yeah sorry. Hey Mom? I forgot to ask you this after I got back, I kinda went straight to bed once I got here so I didn't really get an opportunity. But are you gonna be free today by any chance?"

"Yeah I'll be home all day, why? Something wrong?"

"No no, nothing's wrong I promise." The son assured. "It's just um, I-I was wondering if Fuyumi could come over so that she and I can...talk, about something with you? We uh, kinda came to something new with each other and we wanted to have the chance of explaining it to you."

"Oh certainly, what time is she planning on coming over?"

"Well now that I had a chance of bringing this up to you I was wondering if she could come over now? We kinda have this day planned out on a schedule so the sooner the better."

"Sure I don't mind, oh she could even join us for breakfast if she'd like! I'll be sure to make extra."

"Thanks Mom, I'll go let her know."

"I'll be looking forward to it." The mother said as her son turned to scamper back into his bedroom, and once the last of his footsteps could be heard there came a subtle smirk that he would never see. "Though I have a feeling I already know what it's going to be about."

Bounding for his desk Midoriya aimed for his phone that he quickly unplugged and raised to his face, screen illuminating at a new message that arrived just as he stepped out to speak with his mother. Tapping the message his phone prompted to the app, he smiled at the contact name that will forever send flutters to his heart for the rest of his day moving forward.

Fuyumi: Good morning ☺️

'Ohhhhhhh man. I'll never get tired of seeing her name pop up.'

*taptaptap*

Midoriya: Good morning Fuyumi. Did you sleep well? Your brothers didn't bother you as much?
