SO, HERE'S THE DEAL:
SINCE EMMA'S CHARACTER IS GOING TO CHANGE BECAUSE OF LUCAS... WE'RE MOVING TO BOOK 2, WHERE EMMA AND LUCAS WILL CONSTANTLY BE FIGHTING.
ABOUT EMMA
She now wants to be strong and independent without anyone bossing her around. She'll start letting guys flirt with her, and she'll become more confident, especially when dealing with Lucas or people like Lydia and Lia who oppose her.
ABOUT LUCAS
Lucas will also be competitive with Emma and Austin.
He'll start getting jealous—well, more jealous than he already was. But now he'll take it a step further by intentionally hooking up with other girls because he'll find out that Emma had feelings for him and maybe still does (we'll see how that unfolds in Book 2).
They'll both hit each other where it hurts the most—emotionally and otherwise.
ABOUT PETER & MIA
Peter will often clash with Lucas since they'll all be part of the same group now because of Peter and Mia.
Meanwhile, Mia will be in conflict with Emma...
(No more spoilers here!)
ABOUT AUSTIN
Austin will try to stay close to Emma to keep her from doing anything crazy and to bring her back to her senses when she's angry. Later on, Emma will start encouraging him to explore his feelings for a girl he just met. We'll see more of this in future parts.
