As promised, here's your daily update.
You will regret this insolence!" Madam Yu spat, her voice echoing unnaturally as the dark energy surged outward, twisting the air.
Ayana raised her hands, summoning the golden light that burned with the purity of the sun. "You've endangered everyone with your recklessness. I will end this now."
Their magic collided in midair, an explosion of light and shadow. The ground trembled beneath the force of their powers clashing. Ayana gritted her teeth, sweat dripping down her brow as she pushed back against the consuming darkness.
Inside the barrier, Wei Ying crouched beside Lan Wangji, his expression tight with worry. "Stay still, Wanji," he said, pressing a cloth against the wound on his side. Lan Wangji's breathing was shallow, his gaze unfocused but steady on Ayana.
"She's buying us time," Lan Wangji whispered, his voice strained. "We can't let it be in vain."
"Ayana will take care of her. Wei Ying whispered."
Wen Qing, trembling, cradled Jiang Cheng's head. She could feel his faint pulse, her heart pounding with relief. "He's alive," she murmured, tears streaking her face. Her hands glowed faintly as she began to heal him, drawing strength from her own dwindling reserves. Relief flooded her when she felt the faint rise and fall of his chest. Tears pricked her eyes as she pressed her forehead to his shoulder, murmuring, "You stubborn fool, don't you dare leave me."
Outside, Ayana's power surged, a vortex of flame and wind engulfing her. Madam Yu screamed, her crimson eyes burned with fury as the dark energy rippled through the battlefield, an unstoppable wave of chaos. The blast shattered the barrier, sending shockwaves through the air. Everyone fell unconscious, silence replacing chaos as the dust settled. Trees splintered, stones shattered, and silence fell. Ayana lay motionless, her breath faint. Madam Yu's hair floated like shadows in the wind, a goddess of destruction, victorious and alone.
A surge of white light exploded as three figures emerged from thin air. Their hair flowed like liquid frost, nails curved like polished ivory, and their eyes, blank and piercing, glowed with an eerie intensity. Their silent arrival turned the air heavy, time itself seeming to shudder in their wake. Their white dresses danced in the air.
"Yu, how dare you disturb the balance of the world?" one of them demanded.
"Who dares speak to me?" Madam Yu hissed, her eyes cold with fury.
"The fate," they whispered in unison, their voices like a chilling breeze, foretelling doom.
Madam Yu's red eyes burned brighter as she fixed her gaze on the three figures, her lips curling into a sinister smile. "Fate? You are but relics of a forgotten order," she spat, her voice laced with venom. The dark energy around her thickened, crackling like a storm ready to break.
The central figure stepped forward, her white hair shimmering like moonlight. "And you are a mere shadow of yourself, Yu. Your defiance tears at the fabric of existence."
Madam Yu laughed, the sound cold and hollow. "Existence? It bends to me now. You cannot stop what has already begun."
"This world will not fall to your madness," they said, their voices echoing as one.
Madam Yu's laughter echoed through the desolation, her crimson eyes gleaming with malevolence. "The Fate, meddling once again," she sneered, her voice dripping with venom. "You think you can stop me?"
The three figures remained unmoved, their serene expressions unshaken by Yu's defiance. "You have disrupted the sacred balance," they intoned, their voices harmonizing like an ethereal choir. "Your actions threaten the fabric of existence itself."
