First Dates (Preference)

Ace is the absolute master of dates that are low effort for him while still making you feel special. This is especially true for the very first date, because at that point he's still figuring out if you're really worth his time. Sorry, but it's true. You'll never know it, though, because he's a manipulative little shit, and once he loves you he'd rather bite his own tongue off than admit there was a time when he didn't. But back to the date; Ace has a whole list of options in his head which he'll choose from depending on what he feels you're most in the mood for.

By the point you and Eyeball go on an actual date, you're probably already very close, maybe even a couple. He doesn't even realize he hasn't taken you on a date until you jokingly point it out, but then he immediately sets out to fix that, though it takes some thinking to figure out what to do. He doesn't really have money to spare, so dinner or the movies are out, and he doesn't want to have to ask Ace to borrow his car, so driving anywhere isn't an option either. Eventually he decides to take you stargazing — he knows a nice spot that's not too far to walk. He'll pack blankets, snacks and drinks (do not ask where he got them), and check the weather forecast to make sure it'll be a warm clear night before picking you up short noice.

Billy is a little boring. He's not the most imaginative, so more romantic/special dates won't happen until later on when he knows you and your likes a little better. Until then, he decides that you can never go wrong with a good old movie date.

Charlie isn't good at romance, so unless you take matters into your own hands, the first date with him will be accordingly unromantic. He's the type to just bring you along when meeting the others at Irby's to play billiards, forget you're even there after like ten minutes, and then call that a date. It's not on purpose, and he really doesn't mean any disrespect by it; he just doesn't know any better. You just have to be a bit blunt with him. Tell him you want him to take you to the movies — just the two of you! — and you'll get the nice date you deserve.
