As soon as she emerged from the hole, Gjaki headed for Kan Golge, but hundreds of losts were in her path. She had no choice but to fight her way through.
A corrupted boar, which had its twisted tusks protruding in groups of three, Charged at her. It hadn't had much room to start the run, which made it easy for her to put her hands on its snout, push herself up and jump over it.
As she performed the pirouette, her whip Grabbed the snout and wrapped itself around it. That way, the snout was closed, and served as a support point. She mounted it, as if it were a rodeo, and stuck both daggers into its back. From her privileged position, she was able to do it again and again, despite her mount moving frantically as it was trying to throw her off, to reach her.
The vampiress was well held thanks to the whip, and to the daggers that came out of her feet with Surprise Dagger. However, she had to jump when a corrupted reindeer charged at her and the boar.
In the air, she watched Kan Golge with his Bats. He had come closer, but had stopped. He seemed to be doing something, but she couldn't figure out what. There was no way she could know that he was giving orders to the shadows.
The boar could barely move, and the reindeer had yet to recover from the crash. She decided on the latter, and prepared her whip to Grab onto its antlers and eliminate it. However, the lynx was faster. She completely severed the reindeer's neck, looked at the vampiress for a moment, and Jumped in the direction of Eldi. There was a cicada there that seemed stunned.
"It was mine!" the vampiress muttered, indignant. The feline had even finished off the boar.
Nevertheless, she didn't have time to rest either. She threw herself to the ground to pass under the legs of a kind of bull, whose horns divided into five at the tip. Her whip Grabbed both of its front legs and brought them together, which caused it to stumble violently. A Blood Hound was summoned to stop it from getting up.
Instead of creating a favorable zone like Eldi, she went towards the losts. She had the advantage that they had a hard time reacting to her, as she was a vampiress.
Those losts had orders not to attack vampires, although these orders were being changed by the shadows or Kan Golge. That change wasn't easy for the corrupted beings, whose intellect was conspicuous by its absence.
There were several corrupted termites which were threatening her with their powerful jaws. She slipped between their legs, as she had done so many times against ants. From below, its size and the obstruction of their kin made it difficult for them to attack her.
It must be said that, except for Goldmi, everyone tried to spend as little mana as possible. They knew that their enemy, Kan Golge, was too dangerous not to conserve their strength. As for the elf, she had her own reasons for being a little more wasteful.
Meanwhile, frustrated at not having an easy job because its living target wasn't still, a shadow ordered several losts to attack the vampiress from range. It didn't matter that she was under the termites. Now that she was in a more or less delimited area, the shadow was confident that she wouldn't see it coming.
Of course, it didn't notice the winged scouts watching the battlefield. As soon as the attacks came towards her, Gjaki rushed backwards with the help of Blood to the Feet. The termites were struck down, as the shadow cursed under its breath.
She reached the edge of the Ice Rink, when a wolf charged at her. She smiled mischievously, jumped back and skated on the thin layer of ice.
"That's a good idea!" she praised Eldi.
The corrupted wolf wanted to follow her, but it slipped dramatically, ended up next to Eldi, and was sent into the plants, under which he was buried.
She took advantage of the opportunity to skate to the other side, where the lynx had badly wounded a corrupted hyena, and was facing another. Quickly, she finished off the badly wounded one. The vampiress took advantage of the distraction of the other by the feline to stab a dagger in the jugular, and another in the heart.
They both disappeared, and she smiled at the feline's accusatory gaze, although it was only for an instant. Both separated to face new enemies. The lynx jumped on a kind of locust, while the vampiress dodged the attack of a bull beetle.
While doing so, she was observing through one of her spies an antelope approaching from behind. She was prepared to dodge or attack it, but it stumbled due to the impact of her friend's attack.
"Good one," she praised the elf.
At the same time, her Bats had discovered the presence of the fairies. It was an event as unexpected as it was welcome.
She climbed on top of the huge beetle, while extending several threads around the insect. At that moment, a coyote with two tails jumped on her by surpassing the height of the beetle.
She dodged to the side, and took advantage of its momentum to Grab it with the whip and made it spin around her. Finally, she released it forcefully towards Eldi.
"One goes!" she warned him.
She watched through another of her Bats as he sent it towards the plants, as she had expected, and almost laughed at the look on his face.
Gjaki sharpened the threads with Lethal Thread, and drew them towards her with Lethal Net. The beetle's exoskeleton was very strong, but its legs weren't so much. Besides, they were in the way of the threads. With her pulling and the help of the skill, she ended up cutting them off.
She left the beetle immobilized. Finishing it off was a bit tedious, and it was no longer a threat. Besides, the lost would probably be trampled and hit by the effects of other attacks. Even if it wasn't, she couldn't waste much time, as she was still far from her target.
She then looked back at Kan Golge for a moment, suspiciously. He was still there, not quite getting close. She had to get to him, but for now, she had to deal with some approaching snakes and bees. It was a joint attack ordered by the shadow before it ran away from the fairy who was chasing it.
A moose was approaching from one side, while on the other was the frozen area. From behind, an armadillo was coming, which made the situation even more dangerous.
However, the armadillo attacked the moose instead of her. At the same time, the lynx was Jumping on one of the snakes, and the goshawk was cutting off several of the bees' wings with her Wind Blades.
"Tsk. You're taking away my fun," she complained, even though she was smiling.
Without delay, the vampiress headed towards another of the snakes. She was wondering if she could tie a knot between two of them. It wouldn't be the first time.
