"Are we the first? We better go and come back later," Gjaki joked.
"Ha, ha. Don't even think about moving! It's been a while since I had my dose of Gjali! Hey! Don't hide!" Maldoa exclaimed.
"Heh, heh," the girl laughed as she ran behind her parents, chased by Maldoa.
She had cat ears like her father, and silver hair from her mother. From her, she had also inherited her red eyes and small fangs.
Diknsa smiled, as she cradled the also cat-like child she had stolen from Chornakish just moments before. Barely a year old, he had black hair like his father, but he was also a vampire. Although, his fangs barely peeked out of his still toothless mouth.
Gjali didn't resist much. She ended up being hugged by the drelf, although she escaped as soon as her friends arrived. Eldmi and Gjami were the oldest, and the ones who led the little group. Their cousins, an elven girl and boy, were practically the same age as Gjali. The four of them arrived with their parents, Goldmi, Elendnas, Elenksia, and Klimsal.
They left the children playing in the Origin that Maldoa was still temporarily protecting, and greeted the others. They hugged each other affectionately.
Eldi, Melia, Lidia, and Melingor arrived shortly after. A half high human, half-dryad girl wanted to escape from her mother's arms as soon as she saw the other children with her golden eyes. She was barely five years old, and she was the youngest of the group.
"You can go... How quickly you forget your mother..." Melia complained.
To overcome her depression, she exchanged her daughter for Eldi, thus wrapping his arm with hers.
"Do you have my daggers?" Gjaki asked.
"You don't even say hello..." Eldi complained, and tossed her two new daggers.
"Thank you! They're perfect!" the vampiress smiled, testing them.
The limit on the level of what he could craft had been removed at some point, without Eldi knowing exactly when. It was no longer at 100.
Since Gjaki had raised a few levels, she had asked him for some new ones. For the armor, they still had to get the materials.
What Eldi regretted most was that his knowledge of runes hadn't advanced enough to be able to apply them to the daggers.
A while later, Bolbe and Liodon arrived. They were accompanied by Ted and Mideltya. The latter had a bulging belly.
"Aah! Mom! Don't scare me like that!" Maldoa suddenly complained.
"Isn't she adorable when she gets scared?" Malia, her mother, didn't let go of her. She was hugging her from behind.
"I'm sorry, you know how she is," her father kissed the drelf on the cheek.
"Well, she's indeed adorable," Melia agreed.
"Auntie! Don't support her!" Maldoa complained.
Some more dryads also arrived, including Miletna, the dryad that Goldmi had saved some time ago. Quite a few approached the elf to see if they could try new recipes. Goldmi, who knew it was going to happen, took out what she had prepared, to the delight of the dryads, although not only them.
The truth is that she could now communicate directly with the dryads. Misha's blessing had enhanced her aura, which allowed her not only to listen to them. They had welcomed her with open arms, and flooded her with requests. Of course, they had also provided her with quite a few ingredients.
A teenage Guardian of the North was the first of her people to appear. After all, that Origin was in their territory. Within a few years, Menxilya had grown almost normally, after having remained unchanged for nearly a hundred years. This was probably due to her greater control over her powers as a prophetess.
