LEENA
"Are we done yet? This is taking forever," I whine, crossing my arms over my chest as I glance at the clock.
The minutes seem to drag by, and my patience is wearing thin. Lilith is carefully applying the finishing touches to my makeup, her concentration evident as she perfects every detail.
Meanwhile, Reyna is busy in the corner, fussing with her dress and making sure everything is in place.
We're at Reyna's house, getting ready for prom, and while I'm excited, I can't help but feel the growing tension in the air.
I've been sitting here for what feels like an eternity, and Lilith's meticulous attention to detail isn't helping my impatience. I glance at her in the mirror, hoping for some reassurance, but all she does is raise an eyebrow, clearly unfazed by my whining.
"You're almost done," she says with a grin, not giving in to my complaints. I huff, but deep down, I know it'll all be worth it once I'm fully ready for tonight.
After what feels like an eternity, Lilith finally pulls back, her eyes scanning me from head to toe as if she's taking in every detail. "You look beautiful, Leena," she says, her voice filled with admiration.
"I mean, you were already stunning before all of this, but wow. You look like a completely different person- in the best way possible." She smiles at me, clearly proud of her work, and her gaze softens as she looks me over once more.
I can't help but blush under the weight of her compliment, my heart fluttering a little at her sincerity. I give her a soft smile in return, trying to hold back my own emotions.
"Thank you, Lilith," I say, my voice filled with gratitude. "I'm so glad you helped me. I could never have done this without you."
She grins and gives me a playful wink. "Of course. You'd be crazy not to ask me." And in that moment, I realize just how lucky I am to have her by my side-not just for moments like these, but for everything.
Lilith had chosen to wear a stunning purple dress that seemed to glimmer under the light, the fabric adorned with delicate sparkles that caught the light in the most enchanting way.
The dress was simple yet elegant, with a sleek, strapless design that left her shoulders bare. The fabric hugged her figure, cinching at the waistline to accentuate her curves before flaring out slightly, creating a graceful and sophisticated silhouette. The shimmer of the dress added an ethereal quality to her, making her look like she was floating rather than walking.
The light purple hue fit her perfectly, and every step she took seemed to make the fabric twirl and shimmer even more.
Reyna, on the other hand, had opted for a bold red dress that spoke volumes with its understated beauty. The dress was a rich shade of red, almost like the color of a rose in full bloom.
Made of luxurious silk, it flowed effortlessly around her, the smooth texture catching the light with every subtle movement she made. Unlike Lilith's dress, Reyna's was a bit more fitted, hugging her curves in all the right places and giving her an air of confidence and allure.
Like Lilith's, Reyna's dress was also strapless, allowing the delicate lines of her collarbones and shoulders to be highlighted. The silk shimmered softly, making her look both regal and captivating.
The red of the dress complimented beautifully with her red hair, and the way the fabric moved as she walked made her seem like she had just stepped out of a dream.
