It's funny how irony shows up in your life. I mean the last thing I expected to see when I walked into this cafeteria was Jude surrounded by some of the jocks at their lunch table.

How ironic for a guy who seems to hate everyone to be sitting at a table with jocks. And it looks like he's enjoying himself there too.

I look around the table to see if I recognize any of the guys there by name. I knew TJ from the football team, then there was Cam who was also on the team, the other two guys I didn't know by name but I assumed they were on the football team too. The only one out of place was Jude.

Except he didn't look out of place at all. Actually he seemed like he belonged right at that table with those jocks. I watched one of them pat him on the back as they talked. Ever since he changed his appearance and gained some confidence, people have been all over him.

I walk over there, taking a seat right between Jude and Cam. They all stop their conversation and stare at me.

"Coach has been looking for all of you, he asked me to come get you guys." I said to them and they all looked at each other.

"Now? But it's lunch." One of the guys said.

"You're athletes aren't you?" I ask and they nod.

"You better start running or else you won't be. He seemed very angry at how late you all are." I spoke with sincerity so they knew I was telling the truth.

"Shit, we better go. Thanks Anna." TJ, bumps my shoulder and the guys start walking out of the cafeteria leaving Jude and I alone.

"Must've been scary for you to be alone with all those ignorant, cocky, jocks. That's your biggest fear isn't it?" I rest my cheek on my fist as I look at Jude.

"And that's a wet dream for you I bet." He insults, pulling out his phone completely ignoring me.

"It's nice having all that attention right?" I say, grabbing some of the strawberries from his tray and taking a bite of one.

"I mean that's what you must've wanted all this time. To be popular. Isn't that what everyone around here wishes for?" I take the last bite of the strawberry, licking my thumb.

"No" He answers to that.

"I mean look at you, everything's turning up nicely for you." I said staring at him.
